Subs don't equal views. I've seen Twitch channels with 50k followers, rocking like 15 concurrent viewers. Getting a taste of the good life on YT or Twitch and then losing it is dangerous. Makes you chase a tail you'll likely never catch again. Also you could do a "Where are they now" or "How are they now". Checkups on fighters who've long since retired, just seeing what they've been up to during retirement. Might be a decent idea.

It sucks that copyright strikes have killed off the How Good videos cos they were iconic. If you do want to keep them going, how about making on prospects instead? The sharabullet one did well and there's also a lot of hype for guys like bo, raul rosas, ikram etc and footage from regional fights won't get copyrighted, so it will stay relevant for a lot longer

Just my own opinion. You have built a large channel and brand around MMA. I totally understand the lower view counts must be hard to take. You can start a new channel for different content without damaging the brand you already have. However, if you burn the brand you have within MMA by talking about other topics, you cant get that back once its gone. You found a great niche with the "how good" videos and I believe you can do it again. I think the main issue around the demonetised is you keep using footage you don't own so find another way to tell the same story with footage you can use. Its the story people tune in for and you telling it, not the footage. Whatever you do I hope you find what you are looking for.

I think you should make whatever makes you happiest but also know that consistency is half the battle. I think that’s where a lot of your success came from with your “how good was x fighter” You had a formula and we knew what to expect with every installation. When you switch up content a lot and change veins a lot of people will switch because we also dont really know much about you personality wise like we do with other mma KZreadrs like Guru or Bedtime who are always live and talking to the community. I think you could make MMA content work if you stayed with it and toughed out the low views until people got more accustom to the new you. TLDR: stay consistent or put more of your personality in your videos

But as MMA fighters like Henry Cejudo, Bisping, and DC created channels and started uploading consistently, it caused your channel to fall lower and lower in the algorithm. I remember the good ole days when I looked forward to your videos because you were my only source of MMA discussion. I was doing Honor Guard and your videos would get me through long rides. Honestly dude. I remember where I was the first time I listened to one of your videos. I was on Hylan blvd on staten island making a delivery to some assholes house right off the main road. The guy was a total douche bag and I was delivering lighting from his "project" and i was just listening to youtube on auto play. Then I heard "how good was chael sonnen actually?" And I really didnt pay mind. But then I stopped halfway and restarted the video and actually listened to what you had to say. And I thought to myself wow this guy really put in all this work this is an amazing summary of Chael's career. I've listened to every one of your videos and they really liked how you shoot from the heart. Like you make your videos with extreme attention to detail and you make sure you do the fighter justice when describing their journey and career. Reguardless what you do you will be successful in it im sure. If i were you id make one more video and take a 2-3 month break because your next decision you make will greatly impact your channel. It's like that saying sometimes you have to get out of the forest so you can actually see the trees or whatever something like that.

I think regardless of the outside things that are causing this stuff on your channel it would be better for you to take the perspective that everything is your fault. Having the mindset that the world is out to get you is so defeating. Just look at it in a way that your life is still completely in your control. Push out any notion that your success is out of your control. I wish you all the best dude. Like David Goggins says "Stay Hard!" On a side note. I get copyrighted all the time. Do you dispute your claims? I lose some of the disputes, I go as far as filing appeals when I do lose a claim. If I feel my video complies with fair use I fight it all the way. I've lost disputes and had to file counter notifications. I've never lost one of those.

Kiiyon will you please do a How good was Joe Lauzon video? He was one of the few fighters who had everything to make a champion but never could get a string of wins together to become a champion. Even a mini-documentary on Joe and Dan would be incredible as they are two homegrown fighters whose stories show that everyone who has the will can become great at fighting, you just have to want it.

Truthfully, I subbed for the "How Good" series. I tried the newer style of content when you transitioned but for what it's offering, there's channels that achieve its goals better. If I want MMA analysis and current events I usually watch The Weasel, MMA On Point or Michael Bisping. I can understand the temptation to move away from MMA content entirely considering that your channel is dead, however, I also wouldn't bet against the horse that got you to the race. It's difficult to give advice, but if you're running this as a business, I would try to make educational MMA history videos whilst avoiding demonitisation as much as is feasible. If demonitisation is unavoidable you need sponsors as your revenue source. This channel has a similar story to "Mype Sports".
