That positioning remark needs to be said again louder for the people in the back. If you go deep, your support has to either watch you fall over or get out of position

Yep. The amount of tanks screaming "Where's my healing!?!" While hanging out in the middle of the other team and exploding. Dude. Even Brig ain't tanky enough to save you. Lol Edited to add dps do the same thing, and even supports too. I just notice the tank more since I'm always trying to keep my eye on them.

I've been seeing tanks lately playing in the wide open most of my matches on both sides. It's so God damn frustrating

Wow, they went from playing cover (over-doing it sometimes) on Ram to instantly forgetting what cover is on mauga.

Any tank hero with a shield shuts mauga down as long as the dps behind the shield have some coordination. Or at least that's what I've noticed in my metal ranks 💀💀

That's exactly what I told someone. Reinhart (and Sigma/Ramattra) can just shut bro down for a minute while that overdrive is going on. It's just that people stand out in the open then complain when Mauga is making swiss cheese

its... been the case since its release. in gm probably mauga's team know what to do to help him shut down shields so he can play the game, anything below he cant do shit. then any tank buster destroys him even faster than hog despite having armor cuz no vape

He only used cover at the end because Mauga doesn't have a shield. I think his main issue is using shield as cover.

Playing this game on console is so frustrating. It feels like I'm the worst player and everyone else is using xim.

Yeah ximmers kinda just ruin console multiplayer. I remember it being really bad when I played r6 like 6 years ago.

As a high ranked console player, Ximmers aren't that common especially after the recent changes and ban waves, alot of the time people see really good dps players who have fine tuned their settings and think they are ximming, when they just aren't.

Quick play has crossplay. So yeah, basically you are going against pc players. Try comp. There you will be in console lobbies

@@navinanase only if you are quing with a pc player are you put in pc pool. He said xim as in people plugging in a 3rd party hardware to get a mnk on console so he probably is in comp and not quick play

Ill be in games with the tanks standing in the middle of the road getting melted over and over and i will tell them they need to use covernand they will literally ask "what are you talking about?". Most tanks, all the way up to diamond have no idea what cover is. They genuinely believe they should just be able to march anywhere and get infinite heals. Its crazy.

I too am guilty of using the Sigma "suck" move on everything. Would be great if it did nullify a Miora ult

How was the a C9? The were 2 people on cart to stop it

As a support, many tanks make me get out of position, making us both die :(

I love how the ow community still complains about Mauga, especially when the supports kept them up. Also the enemy ash dominated the lobby, which is why this whole tank is stronger thing is just stupid, games are still determined by dps and it won't ever change

Ya know, a bit of a hot take, but I don't mind the idea of Mauga of being an aggressive tank. In fact, I don't mind heroes where you can just turn your brain off and go wild (as long as it doesn't make them meta). It adds variety imo But the problem with Mauga is he's heavily reliant on his supports to just to stay in the fight due to his terrible sustainability. And even if you buff it, he's basically Godzilla and rampages all over the game. This is why I always hesitate to play him, because I don't want to put my supports through so much stress like companies putting workers under crunch time to keep business afloat. Rare times I would choose Mauga because "why not?", but if my supports respond over my selection, I'd respect it and swap. Overall, I don't mind him in the game, but there has to be a better solution to make it fair for his supports without needing to buff his sustainability.

This is why the balance decisions for Mauga are so baffling. His whole kit screams mechanical skill, playing cover and poking but they found a way to make him none of those things. His single fire has too much spread for him to reliably headshot squishies (outside of brawl range), cardiac overdrive is so strong that it's almost stupid NOT to go aggro with it and auto crit on flaming targets basically invalidates the need for good aim since you'll be playing close anyways. I can't help but wonder why they thought that this is what the community wanted

Flame supports? No. Flame DPS? no. Flame tank? No. Flame yourself? No. Understanding your own limitations in the game? Sure! Understanding other people's mistakes? Absolutely. Hey bud, if you opened your eyes and watch the vid, you'd see that what determined every single Mauga vs Mauga fight was the rest of the team. You can easily see how the only live when the supports are saving them with Lamp, nade, suzu, etc; and you saw how they only died when the dps were shooting them. But yes, it's the tanks that makes Ow2 boring, not the insane burst damage dps heros have or the insane burst healing supports have. It's gotta be the tanks! I don't blame you for being blind, the rest of the ow community would rather be like you and blame the tank than see what's really going on.

Yeah dude. The team that can manage their resources more effectively usually wins. And it's not just mauga vs mauga, there's 8 other people in the lobby

To be fair, Mauga is so horribly balanced that you aren't a threat outide of brawl range. I really think that auto-crit invalidating the need to aim, cardiac overdrive being too strong and the slightly too innacurate single fire are the biggest problems that need to be addressed to keep him from being problematic

fr today I got a tank player asking a lot for heals but he never gave me and the other support the chance to heal him. Never used cover, never used angles, only staying still in the middle of frikin narnia.
