Congratulations Keza - both Kezas. One for graduating law school and the other for being found and being a good dog.

One thing I've learned, at least here in the US, is that no matter how cute they are, how gentle they are, or how much money was spent in buying them from a pet store or a breeder . . . when people are tired of the responsibility, they just turn them loose. It's so sad. No animal loves a human more than a dog and mistreating them is the ultimate betrayal. On the same level as mistreating your own child.

I am hopeful that he gets a good home! I could never abandon a sweet innocent animal like that. EVER!!! I have already lost 2 of my 4 cats, within one year. I loved them both very much. It's always satisfying watching all that horrible hair that is matted, dry and dirty falling off so easily with the shaver. They must feel so strange (but in a good way) when it is off their back and legs and face. The bath is icing on the cake - making them smell nice. We don't have smell-a-vision so we can't imagine what you smell during that initial part of the process but it is lovely to know they are basically given a guarantee of being adopted when they are well looked after and look great. Thankyou for all that you do.

Such a good dog! Anyone would be lucky to have him. You can sometimes use a flea comb while you’re shampooing and conditioning the dog to get rid of eye buggers and other nasty stuff off his face.

You can't pet and talk too much to the dog while grooming. Safety has to come first for the dog and yourself and after the groom is finished is time for fun. One of the first lessons in professional grooming or each dog would take twice as long or more, maybe get over excited and become too mobile to work on safely.
