I used to think every investor went broke during recessions, meanwhile some made millions. Bottom line, there's always a recession for some and profit for others, it all starts from having the right mindset. That said, I've set asides part of my savings to invest for future. Unfortunately I'm a complete noob.

True, A lot of folks downplay the role of professionals until being burnt by their own emotions. The market doesn't have to be a rollercoaster if you understand how it works. There are many opportunities in the current market to achieve significant profits. If you're not very market-savvy, simply buy and hold strong companies with good earnings, or consult with advisors about ETFs and actively managed funds. That's the strategy my spouse and I use, and we've achieved over 80% capital growth, excluding dividends.

the strategies are quite rigorous for the regular-Joe. As a matter of fact, they are mostly successfully carried out by pros who have had a great deal of skillset/knowledge to pull such trades off.

I kind of interpret many post on here as acknowledging that we're reaching a market peak, in general, which is a well-supported thesis, and so if you've been sitting back chill while the gains roll in because bull market, well, time for traders to stay sharp, many are expecting volatility, probably a sharp downturn, smart traders should check their risk management is in shape, time to pay attention. The timing of his post vs what I know about the market supports that well enough. But yeah, the post could mean anything.....managed to grow a nest egg of around 100k to a decent 432k in the space of a few months... I'm especially grateful to Sandy Barclays, whose deep expertise and traditional trading acumen have been invaluable in this challenging, ever-evolving financial landscape.

I went FDIS and it's still going to underperform TSLA/AMZN. But if you are worried about getting trapped at high p/e ratio it might make you feel safer about long term hold, in reality I have no clue if it would be.

Almost all of this over-analysis is useless for me as a trader. I have found one service that is useful, but 95% of his trades either don't make money or are far too risky for me. It's incredible because what I have been doing has 22x my initial investment in February. It's still risky at times, but overall my strategy is much less risky than stuff other people do.

I think it's pretty clear I give a fair and balanced approach to the late cycle investment, position and trading concepts. I have been bullish for months in discussion, I think we will see a minor correction this quarter coming and then go back to being bullish until the end of the cycle with normal style pullback. Then we will have an epic collapse which we have not seen for almost 20 years.
