Near the end of 2021 I was telling everyone I work with to stock up on canned foods that they use daily, any other long shelf life foods and also any other things they were looking to purchase because everything was gonna go up in price drastically. Most of them didn’t listen and didn’t understand … some listened and thanked me quite a bit.. None of them were 5 year olds. Inflation propaganda is real. People don’t understand .. it’s not an increase in prices, it’s the increase in money supply.

Good video. Regarding your opening remarks: No the recession comes when the yield curve rises above zero i.e. it is no longer inverted. There are some signs that it is becoming less inverted. You are correct that the inversion is bigger than previous inversions. How might it de-inverted? Short term rates might stay the same or slightly reduce and long term rates rise. That would be raise costs for businesses and the public and create a recessions. US Bonds would be relatively more rewarding (if held to maturity) and therefore the Dollar would rise which would be deflationary across the world. Strong Dollar means the rest of the world with debts in Dollars have to pay more local currency as interest and therefore debt burden outside US increases even more meaning they have less money to spend.

Government debt-to-GDP ratio (i.e. low in Australia) is not the only factor that can drive a country to financial repression. Very high consumer debt (e.g. Australia, nearly double of the U.S.) can lead to economic implosion at high interest rates, which can force the govt to take on massive debt and stagflation.

I was trying to point out that the govt-only debt-to-GDP ratio alone seems to make Australia seem like haven, which is is far from being.

@@Anonymint-vj7bt I noticed that this map/chart is from 2016 and maybe not accurate. Australia was one of the most repressive countries during the recent health panic. It’s a complete vassal of Uncle Sam. I would choose a country that does not have neo liberal puppets as their government, too.

Gamblers not investors i did Tesla role Royce and more recently ARM atm is up 50% I cashed out Tesla rebounded I cashed out arm up 50^ I cashed out .. 50 in well over 100k out RR is up 180% buy low sell high is such simple math im now buying my council flat cash at below 40k and waiting for a gold drop il slam 30k on gold. The only one I didn’t do was bitcoin it was 15k it’s now around 33

Don't forget about Willem Middelkoop. Wrote a book about the great reset and the wef in 2013. Predicted 2008 crisis way before, gold price action and a upcomming crisis where we in and headed right now.

All of that have been planned and a few people who have connections with elites made a book out of it. So don't tell me they predicted this. This has been planned for many years but the media is concealing this and just focus on mis/ disinforming the public and keep the public entertained so there would not be able to think about the real thing.

Wow, great content. It made me question my investing strategy that takes past 30-40 years as data (since most of the ETFs are created in that period). To be honest, I feel lost a little bit. Russell seems to know financial history well and predicted gloabl macro stuff well. And he said decentralized assets are bearish 🤔 I read some interviews of him. He thinks this macro change will take 15-20 years; energy, climate change intiatives and value stocks will perform well in this era.

Big ups and big love for the awesome daily content. Because inflation devalues your savings, it compels everyone to be an investor. Meaning you need to preoccupy yourself or offload your time/energy to the study of investment opportunities both of which are very costly. Thanks to kevin john Kuria for showing me the appropriate way to get into bitcoin investing and trading with his trade signal and investing guidelines. Investing and trading are more than just having TA skills. There is a big component of discipline and emotional maturity, that one has to work on! Time in the market vs. timing the market. If you keep that mentality as an investor, you will stay calm during the storm! Within some months I was making 15 and have continued on that same path with kevin Kuria.

The problem with Russel's theory is how these countries with high debts like Japan can engage in financial repression without crashing their currencies. Eventually they will run out of funds to fight at both ends, they won't be able to defend both their foreign exchange rates and bond market at the same time.

Since Japans Central Bank can (and does) print as much money as they want at zero percent interest rates, they can remain the biggest buyer of U.S. treasuries. Financial institutions in Japan can borrow Yen at near zero interest, convert (buy) to dollars and buy U.S. treasuries that pay more than 4% interest. They are getting paid to borrow money. The "carry trade". The result of this printing is the devaluation of the Yen. Down a lot in the last year+. Now those who borrowed Yen to buy U.S. treasuries, can reap a windfall in capital gains when they sell their U.S. treasuries (for dollars) and pay back their Yen loans. It will take fewer dollars (increase in value, due to higher interest rates) to buy back the amount of Yen (devalued) to repay their loan. Am I getting this right?

Question, I have been hearing that countries will be Re-Evaluating their currencies as they are going commodity backed and many undervalued currencies will at Parity with the US Dollar. Do you have information on this possibility of happening soon, such as Iraq Dinar and others. Also do you have any information on county paying back their historical debt to the bond holders?

You don't need to be a smart analytical person to make it in the market. I had zero knowledge of market strategy prior to the past year and a half. The one thing I have noticed in life is when fear is high, buy. It happened in the 80's, happened in 2008 and then again in 2022. I literally just DCA into stocks across the year and my portfolio is up 26%. Just by holding. Remember folks, when everyone expects something to happen, it won't. When no one expects anything to happen, all hell breaks loose! Good words to live by. Life is a rollercoaster. So when the rollercoaster is chugging up. Be prepared for the big drop!

I think it’s more clear to talk about yields on government bonds (as the consequence of their market price and fixed payments) rather than to talk of interest rates .. which will seem like magic to most people, it make them think the rates are contracted like base rate + margin or something like for mortgages. The yields are the rates of interest.

"A surprising number has come true" I hear the same thing from gamblers. I need numbers (win/losses) to determine his performance not qualitative statements.

Assuming CBDC's are rolled out, negative interest rates will be possible and saving may become impossible. I wonder about the macroeconomic impact of CBDC on the stock market.

This is one of the most interesting financial videos I've seen recently. Things haven't been adding up in the US for a while. I actually was curious if value somehow got extracted from crypto to pump the stonks up. With the IMF moves one could make the case for this. Allowing those ETFs would contradict some of those conclusions Russell came to.
