And nothing to be ashamed of accents as the tone n accents are different around the world. It’s not easy to learn n memorize a completely new language without any practical application. I hope whoever is laughing will think twice About it. We may not sound the best Arabic , but arab people can’t sound the best hindi or bangla too. But I have heard many Bengali people who won best Quran recitation awards internationally. I don’t know where he heard azan like that.

I don’t think that the old Arab who was bleating like a goat in the video cared less about you and your nostalgia. We must understand that Arabs who masha Allah believed the Prophet without having to witness the Allah subhaan wa tala himself and believed in every word of what the Prophet spoke while South Asians who saw neither but believed in both and have equal if not more faith in the religion of Arabs who now assemble in lavish parties just to stand and mock “Ajamis” literally “dumb” people who believed in Allah and his book without even understanding its language. The Arabs don’t seem to appreciate this fact very much what do you say?

The Arab man in the video was quick to point this out.

I am from Dhaka, Bangladesh. Some of the Azaans around my vicinity are quite praiseworthy. The rendition of the bangali azaan by this fellow(arab?) in this video, is more adherent to simple azaans of bangali villages. A month ago I was in my village home. The homes in our village are like islands. They have empty arable lands between each other. So, when night falls, it becomes very quiet and tranquil and dark. Occasional sounds of the crickets are heard. Sometimes foxes barking in unison and nothing else. I was sitting on my verandah and it was time for Isha prayers. The isha azaan from our village mosque was being recited. That simple azaan. Hello!! It was so profoundly beautiful. I surely had a transcedental experience. It was me and that Azaan and nothing in between us. I love azaans from the villages of bengal. Its my prerogative. You have a problem with that.

This reminds me of my childhood, in village, where old people used to use this tone for azan, they were very simple people. All they had in mind was Allah. And I can recall,in ramjan, hearing Esha azan in this tone and accent coming from far away specially in rainy evening was some kinda feelings, l can't explaim that makes you think about after life and full your heart with joy and sadness at the same time.that reminds me how much life was beautiful, simple and full of joy back then.l m feeling older.I miss those days badly.

Hats off these old people who still make the masajids functional. The masajids are usually deserted, and these guys take up the responsibility of calling people to the prayers, they are serving Allah in their own way.
