Teddy has always been a rare talent. He had an amazing voice and was a gifted performer. My mom and I saw him perform when I was just a teenager and it was a fantastic show. RIP Teddy. You are the GOAT!

Awww Shawn, that was beautiful to watch. That is certainly one of the greatest songs ever. Kenny Rogers version is beautiful also. That's the first time I've heard Teddy singing it, and I think he does it slightly different, with more passion at the end of the song. Written by Lionel Ritchie. ❤❤❤

Hi guys thanks for this video, Teddy was a special talent this was filmed in Londons Hammersmith odeon early 1982 during his tour, I was lucky enough to be at his concert that year, as a 18yr old loving soul, jazz funk and dance music. What we didn’t realise when we attended the concert was that a couple of months after Teddy would be in the accident the paralysed him 😢 although he managed to make a comeback his voice never really had the same beautiful tones, I count myself as blessed to have witnessed his amazing talent live ❤

Yes! Everyone always does the Kenny Rogers version of this song but I think this is the pinnacle version of Lady.

Its a beautiful thing to see a man cry, when he feels emotion welling up in his heart. When I was younger my husband and I rarely cried, but now it only takes a song or a corny old movie, and we have tears streaming down our face. I have talked to several of my friends about it too and they said they are experiencing the same thing. I think it is very healthy. I look at it very much the way you do, it just takes too much energy to hold it all in, It feels so much better afterwards to just let the tears flow naturally.
