Same. I wonder is there any trend or community to make silent workspace not a loud one
About using a mechanical keyboard is all about the switch, I use red switch, which is pretty smooth and I don't have to bottom the key to have it pressed. I had to return one keyboard because it was too "soft" for my fingers, so I would end up pressing a key just by resting my finger, so even the same color switches can have difference in pressure needed to press it
Thanks for the suggestion. Appreciate it.
lol good job babe!!! Love ya!

@@jaymondal7775 thank you! Surgery is healing well so far just some pain. :)
Strangely enough I actually like the sound of someone typing on the MacBook keyboard. I would also reduce the sound just a smidge.
Are you known with Keychron? Am using the K7B1 and its mechanical but light pressured and also flat keys, almost similar to my MBP M2 Max, really love working with it. Anyways, great vid again, thanks! Have a greaat weekend.

Definitely, keychron low profile is better than MacBook keyboard in my opinion. Real sound too
@gixer912

@@WebDevCody Keychron gained popularity over the last few years for being decent budget mechanical keyboards. I have the K2 with brown switches. They feel like half the pressure needed to the DasKeyboard Ultimate that I have. The mech keyboard world is all about customization. You can find your perfect preference in sound, pressure, and tactile feel. It's definitely a hobby though and can be very overwhelming to jump into.
Nice, btw what's your keyboard type? are you using the one which came with your macbook ?
@WebDevCody
Ай бұрын
Yes the built in one
Have you tried linear switches? They don't need much pressure for keystrokes.
Ilike the sound of it. Better to have the level very low though so it’s not too overwhelming.
I like it... it sounds real and lovely while cording
sounds fine to me, keeping it low and subtle is nice.
I like those sounds it feels like I am doing something serious. btw do you know how to increase typing speed ? my wpm sucks.
@WebDevCody

you have to just practice. if you find yourself looking down at your keys when typing, I would recommend learning touch typing
I like a hefty 5lb copper weighted 65% mechanical keyboard with linear switches and cherry profile PBT key caps. I also prefer a copper plate with a more forgiving gasket system or a mounting system that is softer, basically opposite of a top mount. I’ve been looking at the new SixtyFive mode design keyboard, a ton of options and really like you can get a poly top case and still outfit it with copper and reach 5lbs. It’s expensive but it’s all about the sound and typing experience, much better than your standard MX or gaming mech keyboard.
Pretty neat. I just think for videos it might be good to lower the sound a bit.
Test it out in a couple of videos, but make sure the volume is not too high
the best purchase I've made this year
that’s so satisfying
I like the cream switch but a little quitter kinda in the background not to hear that close you know, thanks for sharing this I'll try it out also for myself
Can you show your user json settings?
interesting series bring a video showing all the settings of your vscode
If you're going to use it in your videos I'd recommend turning it down just a bit but I agree it does add a little something
Instantly Purchased!
Watching in a video reminds me of sounds that had in Camtasia
is this typing speed on macbook's own keyboard?
Can you create a windows like clipboard for Linux.
@jaymondal7775
Ай бұрын
gnome extensions solves this problem. what distro you use ?
This is great because some mechanical keyboards lack extra features from the mainstream, so now I can have both kinda.
I would go crazy after like 5 minutes
go for it
If you can reduce the sound a bit i think it should be fine
Green switches are the best!
No windows?
I like the cream one !
Look What They Need to Mimic a Fraction of Our Power
might make me fall asleep from the asmr
“Cant type today” proceeds to type 60 more wpm than me…
When it’s too loud, you sound like you’re playing hungry hungry hippos If you can keep the sound a little bit lower, I think it would provide a lot of value. The monkey type part was too loud for my taste.
@WebDevCody

Yep, agree. Mac book's keyboards - best of the best )
Lol i like it, keyboard asmr. Just reduce sound a bit so it's in the background
For anyone that codes while wearing airpods or any other bluetooth headphones, beware that it adds just enough latency between clicking a key and hearing the noise to drive you crazy. Unfortunate I just spent $4 on this and hate it lol
I really enjoyed the cream one. The others not so much.
sold my mechanical keyboard yesterday just because it hurt my fingers to the point where my finger tip skin would peel off

Mechanical keyboards have lots of different switches, from very soft to very hard.
I love your work. Could you please make a video about Next.js 14 authentication with an external Express backend, and using Redux Toolkit for storing authentication states? Additionally, could you cover protected routes with Redux Toolkit, similar to how we do it in React with Vite ✌✌✌
