We used to that, ducking our heads and washing our hair from the torrential rain pouring out of the rain gutter of our Lola’s home. Such great memories.

Rain water is SOFT water -- best for shampooing and rinsing the hair. Tap water is hard water -- but ground water (artesian well water) -- is the hardest water of all. In many countries (like the USA) homeowners install a water-softener appliance into their water system. Sacha should keep a barrel of rainwater in her bathroom for shampooing purposes.

If story will consistently swim she will grow with a strong lungs and definitely master the craft of swimming!

You are blessed to have access to wide open spaces so that your child do not have the stress of spending the year in a concrete jungle. Seeing Story giggling finding joy in playing in the rain made my day. Shower under the gutter is indeed fun.

We can see the happiness of Story enjoying the pool and the rain! End of the day, the parents were happy too!

It is comforting to know that Story [now] knows how to swim - removes most of the worrying when she takes to water. We had the same worries when we were kids, and my youngest sister, who was about 5, back then, didn't know how to swim. We had a pool and she could drown even in the shallow section, which was up to her nose. Only until she learned how to swim, and swim and dived she did, were most of our worries were at least laid to rest.

I agree! Too bad Jay still swims like he is drowning. As he said, he was never comfortable in the water growing up. Also good to know your sister is fine!

I had so much fun with the story when I saw him swimming in the pool. my daughter Ayesha joy is also brave like story. my daughter is always exited to swim in the pool same like story, so when I watch the story on the vlog it makes me happy because I remember my daughter. Jay, that is what we call "Manila Rope" it´s made of abaca fibers which are abundant in the Philippines. the rope can carry a load of weight even with a small diameter

I used to do the same thing story was doing back then when I was a kid while playing in the Rain. Find the roof that has the Biggest gutter and Shower like there's No Tomorrow HAHAHA thanks for that Very Nostalgic moment Story brought me back to my Best Childhood Moment. 👏🤣❤🇵🇭
