Yana is exceptional at every dance form I've seen her dance to. Her hip-hop is CRAAAAAAAZY good, with A+ performance value, pristine, crispy moves, smooth transitions, and she's almost never off beat. Her contemporary skills are no surprise, and she emotes at 12 as well as you can expect of someone that age. I remember seeing her like 3 years ago when she first joined the Kids Elite program, and honestly it was easy to miss her, esp with the likes of Cherifa, Emmy, Lilyana, Carla, Mailys and others so ahead of the game. But you gotta give Yana crazy props for the hard work she put in and how much she grew as a dancer. If you look back at her dancing in Trini Dem Girls, All I Know, Que Calor, and China for example, then fast-forward Sour Candy, Feel the Beat and beyond, and you will notice an astonishing transformation in maturity, technique and performance ability (selling the emotion of the music to the audience). Her confidence just ballooned, which I'm guessing is due mainly to her slightly younger age relative to some of the others (just a guess). Actually, I remember when I saw her in "Feel the Beat" that it reminded me of seeing Louella completely crush "I like It" back in 2018 (when she was 11 too I think?). I mean they didn't each come *completely* out of nowhere, but those were each such a step up from prior performances that they stuck in my mind. If today, Louella, Albane or Shereen were transported back in time to age 12, they'd have to step up their hip-hop game to hang with Yana...and probably their contemporary, too.

Elle est trop forte yana et elle est incroyable

Je l'ai vu à ses débuts un peu gauche et hésitante mais petit à petit , les progrès sont arrivés très vite. Si vite que cela en devient impressionnant. A chaque vidéo, les mouvements sont d'une telle précision et avec une telle aisance , j'en reste bluffée. Elle arrive à faire des mouvements qui je suis presque sûre ne sont pas de son âge!! Enfin, j'aime beaucoup la regarder danser. ( J'aime tous les regarder et les voir évoluer car pour moi c'est du pur bonheur)

I didn't know she was Ukrainian; she's been on your team a long time. I love watching her dance though! I really loved her in the Michael Jackson 'They don't care about Us' piece. I feel like this title was meant to be a little misleading... ngl. She isn't a refugee or escaping the current conflict. She's lived in France for years. Maybe her entire life? I'm sure her family is still extremely bothered and affected by this but it just feels like the title is for views.
