The episode I remember vividly is the one when Casey and Derek were fighting over the room situations, in which the parents decided to redecorate the basement for Casey, but she was trying to get Derek down there instead, and shenanigans ensued.

@@AlecComes It was the pilot?!? Wow my memory is shot. The other one I remember vividly is when Casey and Sam were finally dating but broke-up and got back together a hundred times a day.

I remember seeing this episode as a kid and being disappointed they didn't show the topless level 😂

According to the LostMediaWiki, Ashley Leggat (Casey) has 2 bumpers. A short version which is the one where they usually say their name and draw the ears. And a long version which is the usual drawing and name with the title of the show. Neither have been found along with about a third of other ones.

We’ve been watching Degrassi (rhymes with sassy) and honestly I blacked out after the Mr. Hollingsworth jumpscare around one minute into your video. I woke up on the floor several hours later, covered in a thin layer of sweat. I guess I have to watch the video again oh no

In all fairness I do in fact play video games like a 2000's sitcom teen written by a middle aged man with no prior experience of video games

This is basically a live action anime 😂

If we're talking progressive Disney episodes, we can't not talk about the "True Colors" episode of That's So Raven!

As a Canadian, I loved Life with Derek. Naturally Sadies. Wingin' It. The Latest Buzz. Many of the actors on these shows went on to be in Degrassi.

I was too young to have seen this show when it was airing, but I kind of wish I wasn’t. Show seems wild & weird as hell 😭 We need part 2!! This vid absolutely hilarious!

Is it bad that I still ship Casey and Derek?

of course I HAD to, I don't think anyone in 2023 could get through a conversation about Life with Derek without mentioning it lol

I do remember the episode airing a lot! But I have to give it one thing little me did think was kind of cool how Casey stood up for something, but then at the end of the episode that she liked it, but didn’t want to compromise her values for it! Also Sam just signed the petition because he wanted to get with Casey!

I remember when Life is Derek was doing reruns; I never realized this show was wild

I didn't watch Life with Derek that much (this is the only episode I remember though!) because I found everyone annoying, but I remembered Derek's actor and the actress who plays Casey's friend were both in another Canadian show that is way better: Strange Days at Blake Holsey High.

i'm brazillian so this show didn't air on disney channel here (i also born in 2005 so i'm too young to have watched it anyway) but for some reason i found it on youtube in 2021 and watched the whole thing in a week lol the theme song slaps . used to be my mother and my sister and me a happy little family and alright with me but mom got married that's when everything changed some things were lost and others were gained a new school a new house so many changes it makes my head spin and now i've got a brother who gets under my skiiiiiin this is life with derek

Canada does in fact have good shows! Radio Free Roscoe, So Weird, Ready or Not, Flash Forward, Are You Afraid of the Dark, Animorphs, Big Wolf On Campus. I don't mind Life With Derek, but it's definitely not one of the ones I'd call good.

Big Wolf on Campus was one of my favorite shows! It was exactly the kind of show I wanted after seeing the old movie "Teen Wolf" as a kid (years before the actual MTV show came out).

You should do that Disney Channel Wand ID tier list but with every single wand ID since 2002.

I remember this! For some reason I thought this was a Kim Possible episode though..

That’s funny, there were some video game centric Kim Possible episodes, like the one where Ron was trapped in a VR Game or something

A) you can thank us Canadians for this, we were unhinged in the 2000s B) Disney kind of would allow this sort of stuff back in the day if they decided it teaches a good message

I remember I had more or less the same reaction as you and just straight up didnt think nudity was a thinf in video games

I liked pretty much every episode of Life with Derek, great show, It's a shame how so many people seem to have perverted ideas about the show. Also, this episode aired before Disney funded them at all, after season 2 when they did, there was way less out of pocket moments after that

I'm starting to think the Latin American Spanish dub version is lost media tbh. I can't find it anywhere for the life of me, not pirated, not on streaming sites, not for sale on DVD/Blue Ray. It's driving me insane cause my cousin insists I was obsessed with this show and istg I already watched the whole thing on Xumo play (in English) and I have zero memories of it. I remember all the other shows I watched back then but this one?... The opening song though, I did find that in Spanish and I knew every freaking word wth brain

Canada does have some pretty good stuff so it’s interesting to see what makes it down here

this show always seemed particularly mature compared to other disney channel shows. I dont remember this episode at all, but I do remember the one where casey's cousin visits and there's an uncomfortably steamy scene with her and derek lol (or at least in my child brain it was steamy) and I'm pretty sure casey was jealous or something?? but it's very possible I misinterpreted that

Yeah I remember that episode too because Casey and her cousin looked like sisters

It's an irrational thing too be annoyed by, but it's annoying when a movie or show makes a fictional piece of media and don't bother to have a consistent idea of what it is. They could have at least learned how modern video games work.

I use an old Audio-Technica Dynamic Microphone model, I bought it like almost 4 years ago. I think the closest one on Amazon they sell is the ATR2100x. Hope this helps!
