Not surprised at the outcome, but holy damn was that close! That went from a several thousand hp lead down to even in a matter of seconds at the end there!

Risen Shagaru is EXTREMELY lucky that he managed to stun lock primordial in the middle of a fight,because other wise it was not possible to win on low hp. In all seriousness though,i am impressed how good was Primordial moveset against him.

Tbh, this Risen Shaggy was seemingly a bit bugged. Risen Shaggy usually goes Risen immediately after losing Risen, but here, it stays in normal mode for a while before going Risen again. It also doesn't do its usual Hazard combos (i.e it's supposed to follow up the 3 slam combo with the big underbelly slam, which it never does). On top of that, it's big underbelly slam bugged out and didn't spawn the extra explosions twice, which was a ton of lost damage. If these bugs hadn't happened, I feel it would have won by a much larger margin.

@Purple Cat Risen Shagaru made it look easy at the start, but one primordial Malzeno got into it things turned around pretty quick. Malzeno had to be really aggressive to match Risen Shagaru, which is looking to be one of strongest monsters in these fights so far.

@@Bombinator90 to answer this, the reason Shagaru enters risen mode is because the risen state is basically its enrage. Whenever you see Shagaru instantly go into it’s risen state, it’s mostly because it’s been damaged fast enough that it immediately transforms.

Risen Shagaru has a lot more bombardment attack when risen, where each point bombardment deals its own damage. 11:42 where Shagaru bombards and hit Malzeno with 6 instances at once and, dealing a lot of damage. It terms of raw strength and its reach, Malzeno is waaay more powerful then risen Shagaru.

I'm impressed by how Quickly Primal Malzeno managed to catch up at the end, I thought he would get stomped by EX Risen Shagaru! This was a very close battle and Primal Malzeno's combos and multiple Teleport ability are absolutley insane but in the end, EX Risen Shagaru still reigns the top!

@Der Pekko I was really impressed by how aggressive Primordial Mal was when I first fought it, but I had my doubts against Risen Shagaru which too me is still one of the most insane hunts in the game.

Malzeno almost had it despite those "struggle" animation from qurio rejection, which gave shagaru crazy time to reduce it's health.

@@MonsterSlayerSquad ya, I have noticed in all the turf wars, that monsters with high AOEs and combos with high recovery times are the ones that always have more advantage in battle, that's y Gross Harag is so good from the base monster(extremely fast recovery time) and so is Risen CGV and Risen Magalas (has both, AOES and fast recovery). The issue with Primordial Malzeno is the recovery time during it's struggle, if that wasn't there then this monster would have defeated every other monsters in this game. Great vid, hope u do one with Primordial vs RCGV and gaismagorm

Primordial malzeno nearly taking out shagaru was surprising, with with a lead of 1k hp it nearly lost, kinda want to see what would happen at equal Hp

I was rooting so hard for primordial to win but he absolutely gave that bastard a run for his money

It sucks to see the same thing that happened to Scorned happen to Primordial. *If either monster wasn't stunlocked, they'd be monsters with winstreaks*

Another video, another amazing fight! As usual, those powerhouses never cease to surprise with how quickly they can destroy any health bar if given the chance.

This was definitely one of the closest matches I've seen on this channel. Primordial Malzeno was faster and had way more offensive tactics, while Risen Shagaru had a lot more ranged options. If this fight was done again, I could see it going in Primordial Malzeno's favor.

@Mason Stewart I think Risen Shagaru benefits from a few things in this fight besides just the HP advantage, which is a shame cuz I think Primordial Malzeno is probably the harder hunt.

Goddamn do these 2 get absolutely insane. But ultimately, Risen Shagaru Magala still retains the advantage even in this rematch thanks to simply having more AoE compared the strong but limited physical combos of Primordial Malzeno.

This battle was beyond awesome, Primordial Malzeno when it becomes enraged is so quick! It slices and dices so effortlessly, it nearly wiped out Risen Shagaru which proves just how strong this variant is! Thank you for this truly glorious battle 😁

Now that was a tense & very close fight primordial malzeno’s a force to be reckoned with. Shagaru got real lucky with those last few flinches, if PM had done another ultimate it would’ve definitely been over. Now I want to see Primordial mal against scorned though I don’t think scorned will come out on top this time. Only things that I could see putting down Primordial malzeno is risen crimson glow Valstrax & seething bazel. What a great fight.

I doubt risen crimson glow would lose considering he resists dragon element and Primordial malzeno is weak to it, he would surely lose that fight

@Fiction Eater your right about that, prime mal gave one of the most powerful monsters in sunbreak such a close battle. It will be very interesting how close of a fight would be against crimson glow and seething for sure and a rematch with scorned would be fun to see (knight vs samurai)

Would love to see a Primordial Malzeno VS Crimson Glow Valtrax. These two mons are really agile. I would to see them darting around the arena while exchanging blows, crossing their wings like two swordsmen cross swords 👌 Hope you can consider this matchup hehe

Omg this match was seriously close, especially towards the end Primordial Malzeno is a truly formidable opponent, but Risen Shagaru Magala won, by the very thin margin!

It's because the monsters are not attacking each other. The mod used for these kind of videos have an invisible hunter running around, this is why Malzeno tailstab failed, it aimed at the invisble hunter not at Shagaru

I can’t believe Primordial Malzeno lost. It was an amazing fight but still, I’m kinda shocked.

After trying a couple of wyvern rides, I now know how bad they are at using their body.

Man this was extremely close! I was expecting Shaggy to win due to all those secondary explosions but that final phase plus the stagger on Primordial really does some work. I do find it strange that Shagaru doesn’t immediately go back to its risen state (something which it’s known for doing) aside from the end. If it did than I would expect Shagaru to have a bit more health at the end, that said it’d probably be a close fight regardless.

Damn, hats off to the frenzy king!

I like how Primalzeno uses their wings and tail as a sword, lance and shield.

what i get from this fight is despite risen shagaru winning this was a fight that could have gone either way inevitably though shagaru had the higher damage value per hit i mean at the start of the fight malzeno was just wailing on shagaru but all it took for shagaru to catch up was a couple hits this was a matter of continuous stun locking vs raw damage value.

I was kinda hoping the variant was gonna be called fallen malzeno because then we could of had risen shagaru magala vs fallen malzeno

Hopefully people realize that game mechanics and stats dont represent their actualy potential. Lorewise Prime Mal would defeat a Risen Shagaru mainly due to the fact that it wouldnt have the quiro to distract it, and it being able to keep a Gaismagorm at bay for 50 years prior to the events in rise. (Ill also include this, if its true, PriMal was the reason Gaismagorm got sent to the bottom in the first place, and we know how powerful Gaismagorm is.) Now if we consider the quiro, realistically if a Primal Malzeno ends up becoming a true risen Prime Malzeno without it fighting back the affliction, it would absolutely decimate the risen shagaru due to how fast and agressive it is. For those who think the other malzeno we kill is a risen malzeno already, ill say this, that malzeno is the later stage of its life, its skinnier and looks frail compared to its original form. Also Primal Malzeno beats Velkhana at the new turf war while normal afflicted Malzeno is even with Velkhana, implying it lost a certain amount of power after accepting the quiro.
