Nice demo. I used to have several metal sheets to get these sounds, but let them go when I moved. It’s a great way to get some interesting sounds from regular objects.

What happens when you use the biggest and the smallest superball at the same time? Does it create two different sounds that are distinguishable from eachother (aka: a high and a low sound at the same time) or does it make 1 sound between the high and low (so that you can't hear them separately)?

Can you play the steel sheet with a violin bow--like a saw?

Judging by sounds made using friction with mallets I think it would definitively work with a bow.

I haven’t done it however as VIST responded I imagine you can. I am going to give it a shot and see what happens.
