Also the official broke way more stuff on that truck than you lol. They should NEVER shut a truck off mid jump, if something’s broken, wait until it lands so that you It doesn’t land locked up, then shut I’d off. That’s the first time I’ve ever seen a truck shut off mid air, and that’s the reason. Don’t sweat it Matt!

@@crazysilly2914 See all those safety shields and other gizmos on the truck? That's because of accidents that have taught them they're needed. Remote shutdown? Driver comes down hard and gets knocked out with foot on the gas headed for bleachers - what do you do?! Remote shut down....

Considering your first real-time driving a monster truck, you did incredibly well. Not very many people can just go out there and hoon as well as you did.

The front end damage is definitely the officials fault for shutting you off mid jump

seemed like it did more than just the front end, the rear was at least spinning before that but when it was towed away, only one wheel was free

You did not fully break the truck, the officials inevitably broke the truck when they killed it mid jump. I personally would've ripped them a new one for doing that, they couldve waited until you landed that last jump then shut it down. You are a damned good driver and you did what you could

@@ashp999 So v2 vids talked about this. The rear tire was losing lug nuts and was wobbly. V2 vids told the radio crew to shut it down. That's when dumb officials did the thing mid jump and broke the front.

@@mpr746 Nah the tech official didn't have much experience, the truck/driver wasn't out of control, & mid-air shut offs can hurt the driver & of course the truck. It was a safety measure that kinda backfired.

This brings back so many memories when my son drove monster trucks with his friend. The friend still does along with his wife. I subscribed to Mike's channel!!

A lot of that damage is just because they shut you off mid jump. It was an awesome run for your first weekend out 🤯

It's crazy how positive you are haha I would've been pissed if they had cut me mid jump, that was by far your hardest landing so any whiplash you have is probably from that, plus if you had been able to land it properly maybe the spindle wouldn't have fully seized at the end. But you did a great job and I'm jelous haha

I'm sure the rear broke during landing on the big last jump. You can hear the engine being revved up and boost being built as you landed, keeping the wheel speed too high when hitting the ground and the wheels wanting to dead stop basically. I figure this is why it broke, I've watched a few hoonigan vids and they talked about that exact fact also stadium dirt truck racing.

No. The last jump broke all the parts because the track officials shut the truck down in the air. That was dangerous and stupid. Even the announcer called them out on it.
