I love how none of these inventions actually intended to be truly problem solving, but rather for lighthearted humor and fun! Nothing dark and sinister behind it, just simple innocent entertainment. This is genius and wholesome, she genuinely made me smile.

I thought when Aki mentioned the tentacle holding a knife I thought she was going to say for the next collab idea to make it Aki dearest mascot themed

as a Gundam fan those Gouf shoulder armors look sick despite being useless for practical use, lol.

You asked a question why Japan, the answer is why not. Much like the question of is, should we have this before you actually build it. A Japan, it's a definite yes. There's a reason why Japan is the leader in technology. Even if it isn't cellphones, computers, or the next virtual or visual invention, everything has its purpose.

This reminds me of those "The design is very human" type inventions.
