I’ve had locs 3 times and I’m thinking about it again after I started in 2022 and chopped it off. I can’t leave my hair honestly but right now I have box braids
I’m on my second loc journey since April 2nd. I’m 9 weeks today. I also have a YT channel documenting my journey. Your locs are gorgeous.

Your hair is sooo beautiful.❤❤🔥🔥 I started mine in 2022 using the interlock method but I think I want to restrat them using the retwist method. Not really loving the interlock look...lol...i got 199 locs

I'm so excited to start my loc journey within a year (i love my fro so much, i need a little more time with her 🥺) but i CANNOT decide for the life of me if i want twist starters or coil starters.... Anybody wanna drop some wisdom for a newbie? 🙏🏾❤️🔥

Dear,I think they are both beautiful. But I am guessing you stand more chance of getting some unravelling with coils,than twists. Well it all depends on your hair texture. You can checkout youtubers locs that were started with coils and those started with twists,to see what calls to you more...Goodluck💖😊
Happy 2 years! My locaversary is July 22 it will be a year. We have similar texture where people ask me how my ends stay curly and IDK.. I too love the look. Please let me know if brushing helps. If not it is what it is. I won’t be combing them out that’s too much work.

Love your hair. I’m 4 1/2 months in and am experiencing extreme itchy scalp😩😩😩. I oil every 5 days but still…Did you experience this and what would you suggest for relief 🤦🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️.

My husband is about 8 months in and he also has an extremely itchy and dry scalp. Cover your hair in the shower with a shower bag to trap moisture in. Also, try the as I am line at Target or Amazon. We use the oil and shampoo for him.

Hey, it also may be the oil you are using and how often. I started doing oil every two weeks and switched out my almond oil. (That ish made my scalp itch like crazy). If you are oiling to keep your scalp "moisturized", try the rose water with glycerin and use a shower cap for like 15-20 minutes. Game changer for keeping moisturized locs for me. I hope you find what works for you. 💛
