I love David's giggling- he knew what was going on! & the family with all the kids from '71 (Shaun Patrick & Ryan) are so cute together!
Shirley Jones was truly beautiful.
What high quality video for 1971
How cute! Wish i could see the whole episode. Patrick is on David's knee, Ryans so cute going to dad! Great mom Shirley you did well!
I LOVE This!! Its SO Cool they were all there and dressed in their Partridge Family show outfits! I especially LOVED David here! Even though he didn't say much! XD Thanks SO Much for uploading this! Wish I could see the whole show!
i agree she is beautiful.
Thanks for posting!! The video is incredibly clear!
Gad, how I love Shirley Jones.
It would have been cool to see the whole show
i saw this one when it first aired.
Oh, wow at the end you can see Shaun Cassidy when he was just a little kid, about 13 or 14 I think.
It actually looks like they're both there in the closing credit sequence. Gelbwaks on the right in the yellow shirt and green sweater vest, and Forster in the powder blue jacket, burgundy pants, and striped shirt on the left.
He actually died about 5 years after that.
It was more like five years later.
Tracy has her statue pose perfected. Jack Cassidy died later that year in a house fire.
Doncha love at the beginning how the guitars are plugged into nothing? This is a great clip, thanks for this!
@fruticetum Norelco PC-70 studio cameras and recorded on two-inch quad videotape
CONFUSING TO ME...IN MARCH 1971..JEREMY GELBWAKS IS STILL IN THE CAST... I WOULD HAVE THOUGHT BRIAN FORSTER WOULD HAVE BEEN CAST ALREADY...BUT I GUESS GELBWAKS DID NOT GET FIRED UNTIL LATER THAT SPRING....LOVE THIS CLIP...
2 inch Quadruplex videotape and PAL color was the original "High Definition" TV in the 1960's and 70's. TV sets of that era were pretty bad so most people didn't realize how good Quad recordings were.
This, of course, would have been NTSC, not PAL.
I thought this is your life was an English production (the wife)
LOL! she didn't realize what was really going on, even when every1 walked in! and btw, b4 every1 asks, I AM AWARE that it was supposed to be a surprise. i was just pointing out that to me it didn't seem like she realized it.
