I had a C section and the saddest part is nobody gets the pain you feel afterwards. People underestimate you for not having a normal delivery. I just wish instead of degrading people would at least show a bit of affection and concern.

Yeah my mom said it felt painful even after the surgery. I can't imagine what she went through😭

Before pregnancy : period pain During copulation : pain When pregnant :uncomfortable + pain During childbirth : labor pain After childbirth : pain + uncomfortable + stress + tiredness + period pain If the son or daughter doesn’t want to take care of the parents and leaves them : more pain Conclusion : you have to pay the price for being a woman 😔😔

I couldn’t believe what she was going through and how she kept saying “I’ll do anything for Noah” @ 11:20am we had our little son of 3lbs 15oz come to this world. I was in soooooo much pain for weeks!!!! Pain medication did nothing. On top of lack of sleep I was getting...it all spiraled into severe postpartum depression. :( but I’m here and I totally survived. My baby and I are thriving!!!! Couldn’t be happier. ❤️ if anyone is going through ppd it gets better. Do not be afraid to seek help.

The more I learn about pregnancy and birth, the more I don't want kids. Edit. OMG! I never could imagine that my comment will blow up like this. First just because some has the physical capacity to procreate doesn't mean they have to do it. Secondly being a mother doesn't mean that you have to suffer, a mother is so much more than that. And third, actually the idea of kids doesn't scare me, but the physical process to get there, I am actually really maternal, but I read some horror stories about birth and pregnancies when I was like 12, this video is cute and all, but it still remains me of that stories. I just think they messed me up.

Two things I never knew and was surprised by after birth.. 1. The cramps of your uterus contraction back to size can be as painful as mild labor contractions. They are terrible when you’re breast feeding but seems to subside after a few days. 2. The night sweats because of hormones rapidly decreasing. I would wake up drenched in sweat and shivering.

I didn't experience any side effects. I trust my doctor so I was comfortable. The recovery was tough only because it was painful but I got through it just fine. Reading everyone's experience and how bad it was I'm so sorry for you mommies. Hope all is well.

@@kmp8985 Well, with my first, I had preeclampsia. So that was an emergency c section because I was losing amniotic fluid. My second was scheduled because I had them so close together that my doctor didn't want me to push and have my newly formed scar tear open.

They have missed the painfulllllllll urination. Staying with a catheter for the first two three days. Getting up is like stab in abdomen. They have underestimated the post c-section condition. Your lower abdomen might be numb for rest of your life.and forget about laughing because it will give you a lot of pain

Because although it seems bad it depends on the woman. I didn’t have a cesarian but if I did I know I would be moving around in a day or two. Hubby and I got together in 2009 and married shortly after we graduated college in 2014. We decided to start trying March of 2015 and knew it might be harder because I had unexplained irregular periods. Two years, several tests, charting, a PCOS diagnosis, and several rounds of ovulation meds and two rounds of post peak progesterone later, I found out I was pregnant- due Nov. 17th. That pregnancy ended at 6 weeks- a day after a promising ultrasound. Fast forward six months to the DATE and we found out we were pregnant with our son due May 17th. 💔🌈

The recovery was the worst part of my emergency c section!

My mom had both my sister and I through a c-section...while my sister was delivered via emergency c-section, my mom had me through a scheduled c-section, which was six days after her 25th birthday :-D

My mom had me via c section. I can only imagine moms that have multiple c sections after each kid, like how do they do it. A womans body is amazing

I’ve had 3. My experience with the third was the worst as it relates to preparing for it (epidural, iv in my hand, etc) But recovery was a breeze.

C section recovery is painful. Those who go through it need family support to help with baby and help mom with self care needs like being able to shower. The first few weeks Mom needs assistance with getting back on her feet. Bless all the mothers who go through this.

Well, having two c sections myself this looks easy compared to what I went through 😂😂 it’s a good info vid though I guess.

Or in my case, my husband came back, but they couldn't revive my daughter in the room and had to take her out, and my husband went with her, so I was alone and heard the OB say that I was bleeding and he couldn't stop it or find where it was. Took them over an hour to stop it and stitch me back up. The next one should be easier because it will not be an emergency.

I got very "lucky" with my urget c section. Just barely enough time to get in a spinal block and dad in the room before they started cutting. No skin to skin because my son was preemie and not breathing well on his own. But id do it all over again. Hes the best little guy 😊

8 weeks post c-section here.... they sure made that look WAY easier than it is and glazed over how difficult it can really be.

As a young girl, this strangely made me feel so emotional. Wish all the mothers good health and fast recovery after this huge operation

I had an emergency c-section due to my fibroid tumor. They had to knock me out because my heart rate was dropping and I felt everything. I died for a minute and lost 4 bags full of blood. All I know is that my baby was safe and that is what mattered to me the most. I’m finally feeling my abdominal area last month and my two year old is more precious to me than anything in the world.

Im currently pregnant and thinking about having a voluntary c-section. Natural birth seems like it would be a lot more painful and having anxiety on top of that will make it hard to push.

@@marylnmonroe I actually think otherwise. I heard C-section causes you some long term damage. So I think it'd be better if it's painful "at the moment", than to have some long time side effects

I had a c section a little over 2 years ago and the worst part was being told not to eat beforehand! I was up walking laps around the maternity floor the next day and at target shopping the day they let me out of the hospital. My doctor and the other staff at the hospital were amazing in preparing me for what to expect and were super comforting. I wish that all c section mommas could have that experience but judging by most of the comments I just got super lucky with things.

I was an emergency C-section so my mum wasn’t prepared at all. But even though she could of had me normally and put me at risk, she risked hers for mine. I used to love hearing the story as a kid, guess I felt honoured

Victoria Hatzson oh but it isn't. I just had my c-section 9 months ago and it really wasn't that big of a deal. Very painful in the first day but by the 3rd day I was pretty much back to normal except the showering part. You don't get to take a normal bath for like 2 weeks.

@@VictoriaHatzson I had a c section. It seems horrific but it is not. If the c section is done in the morning. So you just skip breakfast. No big deal. And they give medication for a few days to help you relax and sleep well . This is not like you have broken your leg and undergo surgery.

I literally cried when they started cuting the around abdomen area.Coz my mother went through it twice( one for me and one for my brother). I m almost 19 yet she still marks of "sewing" (idk if this is the right word).And here is ungrateful stupid me who yelled at her in the morning over one meaningless issue. I know I can never repay her not even after 7 lives....but I just hope n pray that one day I will be successful enough to provide her the life she actually deserves.

I am not even expecting, but I still find these videos interesting lmao.

Honestly they make this one seem a lot less scary than the normal childbirth one 😅 or maybe this actress was just more smiley and chill than it’d be irl. But either way-her smiles definitely helped me to not freak out as much lol

Jessica Allen and this literally doesn’t cover the half of a c section. I had one last year and the entire time I was watching the video I was saying, “that’s an understatement. Hard to move for a day or so? 6 weeks later I was still in pain and just wanted to walk like a normal human.” They make this seem so easy. It is NOT.

My mom (a tiny lady) pushed for hours trying to get me out because she didn't want a c-section. She's a nurse so she knows how it goes, but in the end, she had to get one because I was 9 pounds and my head was too big. That took almost 24 hours. 5 years later my sister was born by planned c-section (like this vid) and my mom almost died because her blood pressure dropped due to anesthesia issues. She never had kids after that. Said she was scarred for life.

I had a C section after being in labor for 20 hours and actively pushing for 2 hours. Never had surgery before my c section. Honestly one of the most terrifying and surreal things I've ever experienced. I don't quite think most people know how weird it is to have your body cut open [you only feel pressure if it's done right, no actual pain]. I'm convinced they used my upper belly and chest to hold a tray of tools while they stitched me up. 😂 I unfortunately wasn't allowed to hold my son immediately but my husband was allowed to sit with our son right next to me so I could see him and talk to him. The epidural and medications they gave me made me shiver and shake so badly that I wouldn't have had the confidence to hold my son if they had offered that option. I legitimately could not function for a solid 2 weeks after my son was born and my swelling in my feet was HORRIBLE for a solid month. Pregnancy and delivery are some crazy freaking things, peeps.

Oh my gosh! My swelling in my feet are so bad right now I nearly cry every time I look at them😭. This is my 4th but second C-section and I was just not prepared. Grateful that we’re both doing well, but really struggling with the way things turned out😓.

I had a c section too and it was my first ever surgery and hospital stay as well. I had all the same feeling as you did, except I was in labor for 30 hours and couldn’t deliver:( but that shivering and shaking is so painful, it’s hard to explain it to people who never experienced it:(

☺️ Yes you are right Until you are in this situation I was so scared since I was young But I’m telling you since I felt my baby ohh dear God I was counting the days to see him I had C -section he was big 10lb , I was running to go to the surgery room The nurses was laughing they said we dint saw none to run like that for surgery ( I was screaming at my husband also to move fast ) I could doit again and again!!

They didn’t mention the pain after epi wears off....not a fun time. Oh and having to get up and walk around for the first time 😳

Let's get one thing straight periods and definitely pregnancy is NOT THAT EASY.

We have a 6 yr old and a 2 yr old. We decided to try last spring and did for 3 months until I was diagnosed with a heart condition. We decided it was too risky for me to carry another baby and stopped trying and starting looking into adoption. We were using the rhythm method until I decided on a long term bc option. Forgot to tell him to pull out one night when it was still too close to the window and immediately just knew and started crying. My poor hubby. We’re very excited though, and everything has been ok with my heart so far.

Guess who felt chills... Bad chills during the video.. the part is so painful. Oh god. My mom did so much for me! ❤️

First time mom here due for a c-section on the 20th of October 2023 as my baby is in breech. Really terrified, but I feel slightly better after seeing this video.

I’m getting a repeat c-section in a month or two. This was a nice reference without going into the details.

To all the people responding putting down this person bc they might want to adopt, saying that it won’t be your “true” child just bc you didn’t “make it” with your s/o, I get this might be how you feel but really As long as there’s love, it’s your child. It doesn’t matter if you “make it” with your significant other, it depends if you want to take care of the child, provide it love, help them to become their best self. That’s what being a parent is about, not if you share genes or blood type. I get it’s your opinion but if you know someone who is adopting or was adopted, I hope you never say this bs to their face. :)

After reading the comments here, I feel like my C-section was far better than anyone who's commenting. Nurses made me walk the same night I had C-section. The painful part was the 6 month pelvic area pain, swelling for 4 months and bad back ache. All related to the less movement during pregnancy (Though I'm not sure about the reason behind swollen feet for 4 months).

So scary! The way they show it cut, is so terrifying
