It sucks that this is the only device in my opinion that’s not a seamless process to set up.

You are Awesome and a Lifesaver! I use to have a iPhone 6S Plus and a Apple watch series 7. for Christmas i received a iPhone 15 pro max. Once i got my new phone the apple watch series 7 the wanted to do a Huge new update and it did. I could not get the two to pair and worked on it for two days and watched numerous video's and Nothing worked... Until i came across yours! The very last tip about going to the iCloud and erasing the watch! Once it was erased the watch immediately started back up and wanted to pair with my cell. In fact a pop-up on the cell said use this phone to assist in setting up your New Watch. I went thru all the commands and now it works perfectly! Tip: only do this when you have access to your watch charger plugged in! I started this at work to erase and it stopped halfway thru because i didn't have it. as soon as i got home and put on charger it finished the Erase and new updates and pairing! Thanks so much!

I backed up my phone ICloud and this has done the trick 👍👍

So would the iPhone 12 pro work with the series 1?

Check if you have other apple watches backup on your iphone, if so you need to delete them. go to settings on your iPhone. Then general > usage > manage storage > find where the apple watch app is and select it. You will then see all of your Apple Watch backups and choose what ones you would like to delete, or delete all and start over.

That might be a good idea To update your Apple Watch without an iPhone, connect your Apple Watch to Wi-Fi, place it on its charger, and open the Settings app on your Apple Watch. Tap General, then tap Software Update. Your device will automatically scan for available updates. If a software update is available, tap Install. Leave the device charging while the update completes. It will restart on its own when it is finished. If both your iPhone and Apple Watch are already up to date, try the following steps to troubleshoot the issue: Restart both your iPhone and Apple Watch. To restart your iPhone, hold down the power button until the "Slide to Power Off" slider appears, then slide it to turn off your phone. To restart your Apple Watch, press and hold the side button until the power off slider appears, then slide to power off. Once both devices are off, turn them back on and try pairing again. Make sure that your iPhone is nearby and connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Apple Watch. The devices must be connected to the same network in order to pair. Check that Bluetooth is turned on both your iPhone and Apple Watch. On your iPhone, go to Settings > Bluetooth to make sure it's on. Removing all back up and pairing manually worked for me with a series 1 watch and 13 pro phone

Can someone help me I got a Series 6 and iPhone 11 Pro and when I play my songs it use to have a pause on the Apple Watch but now it doesn’t have it and when I connect it just disconnected randomly

My brand new  watch series 6 says my iPhone 12 pro is not on the latest iOS update. However I just updated to ios 14.8 and says watchOS needs an update. The update page pops up then it goes back to the message iphone out of date

I have iPhone 6s and just bought a watch series 6. They show as being paired. But I can’t make or receive phone calls without the phone being close by. Is there a way to fix this? One of the things that interested me about the watch was not needing to have my phone on me when exercising.

I have an iPhone 11 and just recently got an Apple Watch series 2 as a gift, went through the setup process and did the watch update from the phone overnight as the update took over 7 hours to complete. Upon waking up the phone said 34 minutes remaining but the watch was prompting me to select language and basically go through the setup process from the beginning. Now the phone is saying watch is up to date but still won’t connect

Someone in the comments said to change the Watch’s country to Afghanistan and that’s what fixed it for me. It’s connected to the internet and updates currently installing. Sounds crazy but this worked.

I recently received an Apple Watch series one and it pairs but it says I need to update my phone (iPhone 6s) my phone is currently up to date at iOS 15.1. It says to update the watch it wants me to update my phone. I’ve reset both my phone and the watch, and redownloaded the Apple Watch app multiple times. okayyy so i’m so annoyed, i have a series 2 and an iphone 11. i haven’t used my watch in a year and i found it. my phone is updated and i updated the watch. now it’s telling me it’s updated but it won’t pair. i’m sick of this. i didn’t spend so much money for this not to work. i read i have to use an old update to fix it, and yet that is not possible. i’ve done every trick, reset my network, the phone the watch is completely wiped and yet i’m screwed out of my money

Pin this! For apple watch pairing error "Can Not Update Because Your Phone Is Not Connected To The Internet." I solved this issue by uninstalling the Watch app from my iphone and reloading it. After reloading the app I paired the watch to the phone and the update started loading. This solution was hard to find. I hope this helps.

My brand new series 7 watch is not pairing. (This is my first Apple Watch). It stalls out at 'signing into your account.' I've shut both on and off, shut bluetooth and wifi on and off. iPhone is 11 pro max IOS 15.2. Batteries are both fully charged.Not sure what else I can do but call Apple.

Just got the 13 coming from an 8 plus and I always had trouble pairing my series 7 to my iPhone and turns out it was the phone itself that is 5 yrs old.

My iWatch screen says “Too many Passcode Attempts Reset Apple Watch and pair again. iPhone is OS 10, 15.6.1; the iWatch is 6 , 15.6.1 (I’m not 100% sure of the watch update, but I know it’s 15…). Haven’t been able to wear my watch for over 1 month because I can’t figure out how to fix it from any of the KZread videos that I have watched. Can you help me please?

I have apple watch series 5 , & iPhone 11 pro .. after the last update i couldn't connect the watch to my iPhone. So i did reset the setting in my apple watch (I wish i didn't).
