two things Rockstar messed up in this scene: 1. how they make Dutch such a smart guy throughout the game and doesn't see how it's not farfetched, what Arthur says. 2. When Arthur is ready to shoot, and doesn't do it when Micah shoots Susan... both are very strange, but Arthur not shooting is absolutely unreal, based on the whole game.

i dont agree with the first point as we seem Dutch is pretty much messed up in the head once he left John to die, but the second point is spot on, with how much Arthur hated Micah he would have 100% shot him when Micah shot Susan, hell he knows he was going to die from the TB so even if the other gang members shot him he still might as well have killed Micah

well I don't really see that Rockstar tried to sell us Dutch as a "smart guy" quite on the contrary in fact. Since the first part of the game they show us that Dutch is just a con artist, an idiot, a snob which best asset is that he can read. The game is telling us every single mission that he's just an egomaniac with an intellectual complex. All his "plans" fail cause he's not capable of making any serious risk calculated planning. He just doesn't listen any of Hosea's quite smart advices because that would imply letting himself look as he's not in control and keep looking for the stupidest alternative that keeps the band together under his "leadership". Hell, there's even a camp event where Uncle tells him he's full of shit and we can see how Dutch panics and reacts violently cause he knows he's been spotted. All the Micah thing is just confirming what the game already has been telling us from the start; everyone in the camp hates Micah and avoids him like herpes, the only one in love with him is Dutch because Micah keeps kissing his ass all the game. Micah is the most intelligent one because he knows he doesn't have the charisma it takes to lead the gang to do stupid shit for him, but Dutch can. So by manipulating Dutch he indirectly manipulates the gang. In fact, to realize how much of an ignorant snob Dutch is we can go to all Angelo Bronte's interactions. Dutch is convinced he can outsmart him with fancy words and half assed rethoric, but Bronte tells his men that this man in front of him is not more than a hillbilly that smells like shit. Then Bronte proceeds to outsmart and manipulate Dutch into risking his men instead of his own. Bronte, a guy whose mother language is not even English. Then all the killing Bronte things happen and we can see Dutch is not a calm and collected guy, he is just an insecure, egoistic, pathetic old man obssesed with power and control that explodes when finds someone who can actually see through him.

The scene was legitimately so good I got suckered in again, forgot they were floating and laughed my ass off when it went to gameplay

Honestly, this one got me hard.

This is a much more dramatic background for this standoff. The clouds and blue sky really highlight the tension between the characters.

Arthur holding his Desert Eagle in a 1:04 shot produces strong resemblance to Vladimir Lem from Max Payne 2, pointing his gun at Max in one of the graphic novel shots, dunno why, it's just the first thing that came to my mind

exactly, fitgirl cracks are not cracks exactly, they remove the steam DLLs from their games, and make the game run offline with some software they use (Idk about the name). the insane compression is a bit annoying though. like for ex was installing fallout 4 the other day. sure, it had all DLC's but the install took like ~3 hours because the whole rip was compressed into ~30 something GB's. cyberpunk 2077 1.0 took a long ass time to install as well. but the consistency is excellent. been using fitgirl since back when far cry 5 came out. better than some other rippers where I've installed the game only to find out everything is in russian and I gotta memorize what the menu buttons say to actually get in game xD@@abhirupkundu2778

What is surprising to me is the clouds are actually rendered and not just a picture. Rendered clouds make sense for games where you fly around, but you basically would never see the difference if it were not for the glitch.
