I had a neighbor do that to us but the bench was chained to an outdoor fan, & two plant tables. She was dragging it down the sidewalk when another neighbor stopped her. The THIEF was using her kids to help!

I remember when I was a kid about 8 or 9 years old and one night in the middle of the night I had gotten up for some reason (I was a night owl). I guess I heard someone coming up my back stairs. I happened to look at the door knob and I saw it start to move. I quickly locked the door just in time! Door knob jigglers, way back in the 70s! I did it just in the nick of time. 😱
