I'm Jason, a full-time British Travel Vlogger and KZreadr who's been to 61 countries. I've been travelling around the world full-time since 2017.
I have travel series' from many of the world's best (and least) known destinations. I filmed the first vlogs on my channel in the summer of 2016 after spending a year living in China. A proper solo trip around Eastern Europe followed after graduating from University in the summer of 2017, taking me to Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, North Macedonia and Kosovo. This marked the start of my efforts to turn vlogging into a full-time job.
After that European trip I explored much of Asia: visiting India, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Pakistan, the Philippines, South Korea and Kazakhstan.
I have also travelled to North Africa and the Middle East fairly extensively over the last five years, filming videos in Turkey, Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Israel and Palestine.
I've travelled to North America just once as a KZreadr, visiting Mexico in 2021. Though I have been to both the USA and Canada, this was as a child on family holidays.
In 2022, I took my first trip to Sub Saharan Africa, visiting Kenya and Tanzania, before heading to the Middle East, stopping in Dubai and Lebanon. Europe followed, covering both the Greek and Turkish sides of Cyprus, and afterwards going back to Italy for the second time to cover Milan and Sicily. I then visited the Caribbean for the first time, covering the Dominican Republic, before heading to both Brussels and Amsterdam, then covering Taiwan and the Philippines in Asia. I finished off the year with a trip around Morocco.
I started my travels in 2023 by finally visiting Paris, taking the Eurostar from London. I then headed over to Qatar for a few days, before heading to Asia, with videos following from India, Singapore, Taiwan, Japan, Mongolia, Thailand and Sumatra (Indonesia).

What a beautiful tranquil place. Busy town. Never had octopus satay but love chicken satay. The scenery is spectacular, that rain is torrential, the waterfall is worth getting wet for. Beaches are lovely. That fish is huge! Prayer is very important, a good time to reflect and calm your spirit. What a lovely relaxing time you showed us, thank you!

Again, so happy to allow us sitting on your shoulder and let us experience the beauty of Pulau Weh. Just wondering, is it right to state that the island's environment is cleaner that what you would expect? i don't see much polution, plastic garbage, empty bottles and wrappers,....it actually looks quite pristine....

Another great video, Jason. Businesses usually resume normal practice after Juma'a/ Friday prayers (1 hour, give or take). You were looking at a Pandanus plant, not a pineapple. I wish it was a pineapple! Looking forward to your next video. Btw, the bridge is temporarily closed for maintenance.

Minute 18:22 means "Temporarily Closed for Maintenance". For diving, Sulawesi island has many nice diving spots. Follow Kristian Hansen's youtube channel, he's done quite a few diving lessons. But December is not the best for water activities as the sea can be quite choppy. Hope you have a nice raincoat for the rest of your trip, December is one of the rainiest months.

If you take away the palms and beach it looks like my area of Western North Carolina. It's very green and rocky here with lots of hikes to waterfalls. Please be careful on those river rocks and even those concrete passovers as they can get slick, too. I assume you have some kind of plan b if you ever got in trouble on a hike while alone? Just a bit concerned. The video was gorgeous.

Udara bersih dan tanah yang subur adalah tempat ideal untuk hidup. Terlalu banyak polusi dan kekeosan adalah indikasi buruk. Orang-orang yang mencuci di kali harus diberi tahu.

That’s not pineapple. It’s just screw pine that grow wild on sandy beach with salty environment. The fruit is not eatable. Yes the fruit looks very similar to pineapple, it color turns yellow when it got ripe. If you are interested you please to pick it up.

Hi Jason ! i know you have many talents, your botanical knowledge however is not one of them 🙂 🙂. The pineapple tree is actually a Pandanus, and does not produce juicy pineapples at all . (it actually are nuts that are edible, but perhaps not the most culinary ones you ever tasted) 🙂

INFORMATION.. "Once, "Weh island" was a free port and the most strategic one. It lasted for a long time and even became a route and a stopover for international traders before the formation of "Indonesia". However, without clear reasons, after Indonesia gained independence, the Indonesian government relocated this free port to "Batam island", where its sea route is not strategic at all. This free port had existed even before the Portuguese colonial era." "I think, Weh island had been a free port since the time of the Ottoman Empire."😊

Isn't it nice to come across a place not spoiled by mobs of tourists and development (mega resorts, international airports, construction cranes, jackhammers, bulldozers and other horrors commercialized mass tourism has a tendency to bring with it). Don't spoil that. The entire planet doesn't have to know.

There is a history that is not taught in Indonesia that Sumatra should be part of Malaysia......Sumatra is Malay.....Malaysian Malays also come from Sumatra (we are the Malay family).....HR, our performance and thinking (Sumatra, Kalimantan, Sulawesi) were used to build the island of Java, in every school they were also busy being introduced to the "annoying" Javanese heroes. Sumatra, Sulawesi and Kalimantan had to unite and join together to become their own country, leaving the island of Java and forming a new country... ..Amen
