the reason I still play skater xl over session is for one thing, the board control, it's still unmatched and I really wish I enjoyed session more but it just doesn't have the same board control. I'm really looking forward to fake skate for the reason that it looks like what I like from skater xl but 10x better

Not being negative just stating a fact. Without mods this game doesn't compare to session. If these youtube guys played vanilla xl then the people would see what it really is. Especially the people that don't own it bc they'll buy it expecting it be just like this.

I also prefer skater xl, the board and foot control is so much more natural and responsive, to me it’s currently the ultimate skateboarding game

Bro you should check out the massive new update for Tony Hawk's American Wasteland. mod is called reTHAWed - update 4.0. it basically turns THAW into THAW 2.

Pretty much all the working mods for the alpha branch with my custom settings for most of them.

There's something wrong with this community, They ARE THE GAME!!!!

Damn, this map is amazing. I love sxl maps but, unfortunately, I don't understand its physics n controls (even with mod which makes session switch riding) Why bloggers' sxl looks awesome but when I install their mods, stats etc, sxl still looks n feels like a roblox skate game?

That's so relatable, It's taken a lot of tweaking to look better and its still nowhere near pigeons gameplay. Best advice I'd have for getting used to the physics is changing push speed, gravity, and pop force. Best of luck!

I wouldn’t hold your breath, official support from the devs is non existent, it’s the modders on PC that keep this game alive.
