Dope compilation!! Raven gang 🥷🏾🔥

Mix-up heavy characters tend to have good whiff punishment but weak block punishment, like Eddy, or good block but weak whiff punishment like Miguel. Maven has decent block, great whiff punishment, and great counter hit tools. The problem is her BT stance is counter-intuitive, so until a player is comfortable using it well in random situations, they will struggle with her.

Yes I on PS5. I love using her it’s been a long journey too. I wasn’t always this get but im continuing to get better with her. She’s amazing.

Raven is good but she's definitely a 50/50 character. If you know how to punish her, she can get blown up really badly. She has some good safe attacks but most of the time I win with her based on lack of character knowledge.

Master Raven is a very underrated and unique character indeed, but to do very good with her you need to play very risky, because many of her moves end in her back turn where she's very vulnerable, you need to be very versatile and unpredictable with her, I mainly use her because she resemble Naruto characters in her fighting style and because of her unorthodox approach, for me she's B+ and maximum A in the right hands of use in the Tier List, because she's the type of High Risk-High Reward character. ☯️

I can agree with this for sure. Personally I think she’s A tier. Her biggest down fall is how her 50/50’s, back turn, and how linear she is. I’ve improved with her significantly because she has good tools to make it work. I’m comfortable saying she’s A tier for sure. I have more Mraven content

She’s high intermediate as far as difficulty in my opinion. She has a lot of weaknesses so you have to know what your doing. Very risky as well but she has a good neutral tools, mix ups, wall carry/damage.

@@Moth590 her best neutral tool (in my opinion) is her ws2. Instant ws2 is very good to throw out because its safe and you can catch a lot of players with counter hit if they jab or do high attacks. Also if you have a good idea of your opponent's approach game you can use it to counter that. She all has 3,3 which is a good mid poke that is safe and surprisingly hard to side step. Her d/b 2 is her best mid overall because you can force back turn mix-up and to test your opponents reaction to you going into back turn. @@shinobikun904 I agree. Her 1+2 is good as well. It's a good 14 frame knockdown tool. Also, haze down 3 is actually a pretty safe low and can lead to really good damage on counter hit. I randomly throw out 4,1 and if it counter hits, it's a full combo.

I just don't understand why those top tier characters always top tier ... Other characters don't stand a chances.... I really wish to see a player use Xiaoyu to win a major tournament like EVO

Yes that would be totally amazing. Xiaoyu in high lvl play is definitely a struggle and she’s not necessarily easy to use at a professional lvl. But there are good ones out there such as Mr. Croft and Sodam petun

Single guess out of crouch dash. That's why he puts her so high. Koreans hate being put in guessing situation. Out side of that and wall damage... You gotta WORK with Raven. She ain't top 10 to me- good not top 10.
