I met Kevin at a convention, I didn’t have money to pay for a picture or signature but when me and girlfriend walked by we heard “I am in the night, I am Batman” and just stared at him. His security guard walked over to him, waved us over and Kevin said “You know it’s always okay to say Hello right” and then asked us our names, asked if we played the Arkham games to which my girlfriend said “I beat them all” and he called her hot while winking at us then said he had some very exciting things planned up in that universe, which was this game. He didn’t have to meet us, he didn’t have to go out of his way to be a sweetheart but he was and just talking to him was like talking to Bruce Wayne. Rest in Peace Kevin, You truly gave me a day i’ll never forget. Edit: he called her hot in a joking and respectful manner, as a like “you got a good one” joke. She didn’t take offense to it, I didn’t and neither should anyone else. It’s the all time confident booster

But that's silly because you could ask "where's the other flash's?" Or the other Green Lanterns etc or where's Supergirl. Its a centered story not some open war that the whole of DC should be involved in. That's ridiculous.

I find it fascinating how he says “I was BORN Bruce Wayne” instead of saying “My name is Bruce Wayne” as if to imply, he no longer sees himself that way. Honestly, I like that detail. Although Bruce still lives on as the Batman, in a way, Bruce represented the innocence he once had. Bruce died in an alleyway. But despite what he went through, even after his world shattered, and he could’ve given into despair, he chose to use that grief to help others both as a philanthropist and as the Batman. Bruce Wayne may be dead, but the Batman carries on his legacy as a symbol of vengeance for the victims of crime and hope for a better tomorrow.

The late Kevin Conroy was so iconic that even with the audio muted I could hear him deliver the lines. I honestly can't blame Mark Hammil for retiring as Joker after his passing, and losing the voice of Harley Quinn as well. No other voice actors could deliver their lines the same way opposite of Mark as they could.

That last line almost sounds like Kevin Conroy allowed him to reach a different spot in the voice to hit the emotion harder. Like, it sounded a little different in a good way. He was a great actor. Rest in peace, Kevin Conroy.

I'd love to see the conversation Wonder Woman had with Batman to convince him to record himself talking about himself for kids to hear. Kinda funny

This easily could've been a moment for the writers to poke fun at and take the piss out of the League. But, from what I can tell, the monologues are genuine. And even if they aren't, it feels so good to hear Kevin again. For the last time.

I know I have said this too many times but I can't imagine watching Batman again without hearing Kevin Conroy's amazing voice as the caped crusader. He is the Batman I think of and picture in my mind whenever I read the comics watch the cartoons and movies and play the videogames. Plus he and Mark Hamill as the Joker was such perfect chemistry. Dunno about Tim and Barbara, iirc they were in the process of getting married. After Knightfall, Jason started to operate as Red Hood and I doubt he will help Harley. Huntress operates far outside of Gotham, Nightwing himself is in his own turf. Batwoman might have existed, there were Easter eggs in game, when she left a VM for Bruce. Catwoman might help, since she is buddies with Harley and Ivy in the past. In canon, Michael is an ally to Batman and was in City and Arkham Knight, he might be around but in Arkham knight he had to deal with Dumas first so who knows, he'd be around to assist knowing Batman is unable to do anything. Then again who knows what they'll do. Heck, I'd be surprised if someone from the Titans showed up, like Connor lol since Luthor is in the game.

This right here is one of if not the only reasons I plan to see through this game's story, being one of the last performances by Kevin Conroy as Batman, the other being Batman: Caped Crusader, that was cancelled by Warner Bros. but recently picked up by Amazon for their Prime Video service though its release has yet to be confirmed.

He left us this performance and a few other amazing ones, and the game did him in like that. I'm just sad beyond words.

Michael Keaton and Kevin Conroy are top tier. Nobody has beaten them. The seriousness they handled an adult character in spandex with is something that you almost never see. It's either too cringe or it's too "realistic" and both Keaton and Conroy embraced Batman/Bruce Wayne for what it was and put their own incredible spin on it. To this day, when I hear someone say "Batman" the 1989 batsuit and Conroy's voice immediately pop up in my head. And I'm so grateful to Rocksteady for adding that suit in Arkham Knight.

Aaron Cash is in this game, but he's a guard in Arkham Asylum, where all the Suicide Squad members were being held. That doesn't mean the Bat-family can't show up, I'd love to see Robin or Nightwing or something, but I don't know if that's happening

Conroy definitely was the best, but I think Jason O'Mara should definitely be in the conversation. He's a very, very close 2nd for me. I would love for him to take over as the main Batman voice actor.

Say what you want about the game but this alone makes its existence worth it. RIP Kevin Conroy.

It still makes me sad to know we won’t hear this epic voice in any new projects ever again. Kevin WAS Batman in a way that can’t ever be replicated. The only other actor I can think of that is THE definitive voice of their character at this kind of level would be Peter Cullen as Optimus Prime.
