This is why I LOVE living in Spain
This video shows some things that I love about living in Spain. I decided to go for a walk from my apartment in Valencia, Spain, where I can easily show you everything that I love about living in Spain. The culture is just so vibrant. I show you the beautiful streets, culture, family bonds, activities, night life, and city living here in Spain. This video hopefully gives you an idea as to why I love living in Spain. Life in Spain as as American

The minimum wage in Spain in 2022 is 14,000 euros per year, it is low compared to other European countries and entails public health, a contribution to social security for the public pension, one month of paid vacations, 12 holidays a year, plus Saturdays and Sundays, paid maternity and paternity leave of several months, paid medical leave and unemployment insurance and is exempt from income tax. Two people who live together and who both earn the minimum wage, that is, jobs without any qualifications, can live with dignity, and education is free and even university is affordable, with many scholarships

Great video. If money wasn't an object, which neighborhood would you choose to live in?
@comfortablylost6459
Жыл бұрын
Hey Carey! Thanks for the kind words. I should make a video on the neighborhoods some day to show you. But here it is in words: My two favorites are the Russafa and El Carmen. Russafa is a really fun neighborhood with tons of energy and opportunity for social events. This is where a majority of the more mature social scene is. When I say “more mature” I am referring to the fact that there is a large party scene near the universities, but I wouldn’t recommend that area if you aren’t a university student. The neighborhood is aesthetically pleasing, the food options are plentiful, and overall the life is very exiting. El carmen is a bit more mellow. It is the old part of the city in which there isn’t a proper road, the buildings are smaller, and the streets are full of tourism. I love this area because I grew up in California and it always amazing me that I am surrounded by buildings that date back to before my state was even established! There is good nightlife and food in this area as well, but I would say the main strongpoint if this part of town is that it is very calm regarding noise and the streets are absolutely stunning! Hope this helps :)

In the US, graffiti has a negative connotation and you generally have an ugly image in your mind. But since it’s so common, and the pieces are super sick, is there a different type of cultural stigma behind “graffiti” over there?
@comfortablylost6459
Жыл бұрын
You bring up a great point my man! I’m not sure about the technical legality, but it seems to be very accepted. They actually have a famous grafiti artist who’s art has become a symbol of the city.
