    I have an XL bully pup, she's only 17 weeks, she's very friendly and wants to say hello to everyone and every dog. I find most dogs are kind but you get the odd dog or snappy little one trying to go for her. It makes me worry so much. I'm very firm with her and am careful when approaching other dogs, I always make sure she's on her lead. There are some owners who never put their dog back on the lead. Just let their dogs run up to her. I think it's quite irresponsible tbh.

    Its not the persons fault but the genetics of the dog unfortunately. These dogs are aggressive, and they do attack, and bite.. and maim. Out of interest, when you decided to get a very aggressive breed of dog known for killing children and other animals, what made you think it was a good idea? Just curious because everyday here in the UK we are seeing another sad story where these dogs are killing people and every time the owners say "they wouldnt hurt a fly" but yet it still keeps happening.

  • @thenomadceo

    @thenomadceo

    10 ай бұрын

    @@TheLucyKemp this is an actual crazy statement. We are seeing the stories - I'm in the UK, so hear and see it and totally feel upset the same way everyone does. I'll go back to my previous point, it's purely down to ownership. A tiny dog could do the same thing, a child could attack another child - dogs aren't born evil. Most Bullys got sold through covid, as an accessory to little gangsters who had them to look cool. They haven't cared for them, looked after them or trained them. statistically you're more likely to get bitten by a jack russell. It's just XL bullys are far more capable hence the bite tends to lead to far greater injuries or death. If a jack russel had the same muscular capability, they would undoubtedly cause more murders. With proper ownership, diligent training, these Bullys are incredible companions. I've had mine round my baby nephews, neighbours children everyone. What i do think a good solution would be.. require a license to have one, where you need to prove the training/attention you give the dog. I just hope you stop being emotional about the current state and think rationally because it's being campaigned these dogs should be banned, and that would be a travesty. We just need safe and responsible ownership. p.s I got another this week and again, i've spent 2 hours every day training it - and I appreciate it's my job with a dog this capable to ensure it's safe, obedient and on-lead in any environment where there's other people

Common sense decision!

And again, I don't crop ANY dog's unless it's needed ... But, I suppose letting them suffer with constant blistered/split ears and infections would be more reasonable 🤔

    As everyone says....this guy is evidently a loving and responsible dog owner and therefore his dogs are not a problem despite their size and reputation. As he said that does not apply to all dog owners and a lot of idiots buy these dogs to boost their paper-thin egos. I don't support banning any dog breed and think it would be ineffective. I do however, support requiring a licence to own certain breeds. I don't want the licence to become some skanky money spinner for the government so the fee should be just enough to pay for the service. The main focus should be competency, facilities, handling rules and extremely harsh consequences in the event of an incidient.

    Exactly and he says it himself when he sees the small dog offlead and then goes and lets his dog offlead further down the path...but hes such a good owner and trainer...and theres not a problem with the breed...the whole narrative and video is contradictory...dogs fight people...are you physically strong enough to restrain your dog or not? The only dog capable of fatally injuring one of these dogs is another bull breed and according to aĺl the bull breed owners on here all of theirs are fine...so you can all join a club together and aĺl take your bull breeds to eachothers houses and let them frollic dance and love and cuddle eachother right...because theyre all so gentle and youve all got such great control off them and even if they get in a bit of a scuffle you will be able to just say stop being so naughty and let go of your mates throat and theyll trot back over to you with their perfect obedience and all will be well... Please post all these videos of their playtime together so we can all learn how to train our problem dogs.

    Please be very careful who you sell any puppies from these dogs to, especially intact males/females. If any end up in the hands of wannabe gangsters who train/breed them to be aggressive, or naive owners who don't treat them properly then it's going to result in other dogs, children, cats etc. getting killed. This of course applies to any dog breed but given the size and strength of this breed, and the type of people looking for dogs like this, need to be extra careful.

    @Day2xs Sometimes thugs or drug dealers or people involved in dog fighting go for these dogs. They don’t train the dog right, or they encourage aggressive behavior, which only fuels the negative stereotype the breed already has.

    @@day2xs208 they didn't say everyone wanting one is a dick, but a lot of people who ARE dicks WILL try to get a dog like this, be irresponsible as fuck and become a fucking menace to society. All he said was be careful who you sell to to prevent that. It's like if you were some kind of weapons dealer, in the wrong hands it could be very bad, so you gotta be careful, that's all they're saying. This guy (in the video) seems extremely responsible and is doing a great job with his dogs, but not everyone will be like that

    Took me a minute to understand the UK accent when he said 'my man's got a call the police mug' lmaoooo ... Cracked me tf when it hit me tho lol ... Nice to see this type of breeder and dog enthusiast as it translates to him as an owner, trainer and breeder ... But even more cool for me seeing it from a fellow guy of pakistani background ... I've got fam in the UK and know there's a real strong pk community over there which we dont have here in the US so it's rare and real nice for me to see one of the guys from our background who really knows his stuff and executes things wit a level of professionallism ... See way too much half ass execution with full on shxt talkin in our community Ive noticed when visiting over there. Subscribed and looking forward to see more, keep it up my man. If you ever need a hand or are visiting NYC or surrounding area, hit me up for a local connect to help put a play together etc .. best of luck wit future plans IA

    Very nice dogs and good behaviour! I'm an amstaff owner, small dogs are always trying to check his nerves, we are always on a lead and of course small dogs are not - owners think they dont need to train them or control cause they are small and will not eat anybody... yes.. but... they are always angry as hell and rush to us trying to do something strange.. like to attack an amstaff. Last time I was trying to walk away from one little provocateur for a long time and the second owner didnt care at all that his pug is trying to deal with a staff and was chasing and barking on us all the time..

    My dads friend owns 3 bully kind of breeds and he’s trained them really well. My dads been able to chat with the guy with the dogs sat down next to the friend, off lead, and not daring to walk off. He’s trained the dogs to listen to him when he calls them back, walk beside him perfectly, sit when he stops walking (at traffic lights or to chat with a friend.) Dogs like that make me jealous since my dog is really easily distracted and i give up most the time with him but then I try again.

Got attacked 4-5 times by random dogs jumping out of the bushes. Btw in my country your dog must be on leash at public places such as parks.

    I have an XL bully cross with an American staffy, he isn’t as heavy as pure XL (80 lbs) at 1 year old, but he is much more energetic, all he wants to do is play, he is friendly with dogs and humans, but when he sees a dog he just wants to run over and play, obviously other dog owners don’t know he just wants to play and that puts people off sometimes. Most people will come over and play with him though. Best dogs in the world.

    You need to chill mate, your dog can feel your fear and that makes him want to protect you. I feel your pain my SBT was attacked by two labs when he was 2, 16 stables later and a full year of reinforcement training and he was good as gold. Your anxiety doesn't help bro. The most you can do is do what you can do, you can't control every situation. Beautiful dog pale 👍

    As an owner if a pittbull x staffy who is generally a good well behaved dog. He is not always friends with other dogs off the lead so i have to be on alert, the only issues i have had is other dog owners who don't have well trained dogs with no recall approaching him then it could be messy, so all in all i believe that all dogs should be on a lead at all times unless in a secure area with dogs they already know, so keep your dogs on a lead and stop making my life hell 😢
