@@JT-km6th Generally, in business, that is true...the newer product needs to be pushed to ensure survival. The problem in this case is that the old product (Jordan) is so vastly superior to the new one (James), it's obvious to anyone with an objective eye! In terms of securing the future of the NBA, I think the league and people in general need to start accepting the fact that Jordan was one of one. An anomaly. There is no 'next Jordan'. He accomplished the rare feat of transcending his Sport and reached the heights of Ali and Babe Ruth. He set the bar so high that he became the gold standard, not only for Basketball players, but for Athletes across all sports. That standard is damn near impossible to reach. Kobe came the closest and though he became an All-Time NBA legend in his own right, he failed to reach Jordan's level. Lebron has spent his entire career 'chasing the Ghost in Chicago' and after 21 years the gap between them is wider than ever, sadly James has become so obsessed with that chase that he has resorted to trying to tear MJ down and we all know the impact that is having on his legacy. The only way that the league can successfully move on from Jordan is to stop looking for the 'next Jordan'. He is out of reach. Unattainable. Retiring his jersey league wide would cement that. Maybe then the comparisons would stop. Maybe then new up-and-coming players would be allowed to forge their own paths. The future of the NBA relies on the new generation of players being given a chance to redefine greatness because Jordan will never be matched. Period.

Example, when LeDummy lunged toward that fan who flinched, and then he mocked her for flinching - during the live broadcast, they used the delay to edit out his lunging at her. They cut to the coach, then claimed he was laughing and talking about an opposing player flopping. In one game the Lakers came back to win., the analysts, after the game, claimed it was a LeDummy steal that started the 4th quarter come back. LeDummy had no steals in the 4th quarter. The analysts just made it up. There are times when they show stats of various Lakers players in a game - show LeDummy's minutes or shot attempts in the row where for everyone else they show pts - that's to make it seem LeDummy had more points than everyone else in games when he didn't. Here is the simple reality. Any excuse, even if true, should be invalid for Lebron. The man has "The Chosen 1" tattooed on himself as if he is The Golden Child from Eddie Murphy's 1986 movie The Golden Child. If a person is The Chosen 1 of anything, that means that person is MILES above everyone else - special, magical, never before seen. In sports, the person would have to be 70 years old before dropping down to what is average talent. Lebron and his peers created this. I feel like he doesn't play with the manic intensity of Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, or Michael Jordan. Lebron doesn't take the risks that Larry Bird or MJ does at the end of games. Let's be fair, if he knows that taking the big shots in crunch time isn't his strong suit, I can applaud that. Better to know your strengths and play to them than ignore your weaknesses and lose because of them. Lebron James wouldn't be my first choice for any position if I were building a franchise, though part of that could be nostalgia for some players, and part of that is the knowledge that Lebron is loyal to himself first, rather than the team. LeBron deserves to be told to shut up and dribble because his "views" are just him blowing with the wind. I got a lot more respect for guys like Enes Kanter, Jonathan Isaac and Kyrie Irving for going against the grain and putting their reputations on the line for what they believe. It's pretty clear that there is an acceptable set of views to have in the NBA and it's fine if you legit think that way but LeBron has never had any meat on the bone when it comes to any issues, the best example being him carrying around the Malcolm X book when he clearly hadn't read a word past the title. So for him to use his huge platform to be an ignorant, and sometimes malicious douche I think nothing is more fitting for him than to shut up and dribble.

Bro, I've been playing basketball for 26 years, following the NBA since Jordan's last ring, I'm an NBA nerd (I live in Spain). I truly think Lebron is an overwhelming force on the court, and he has as much talent, strength, and athleticism as you might want to play basketball. But man... ALL the bullshit, his ego, the media praise, the flopping, all his yapping and selfishness. Please, I know NBA Teams are wealthy as f*ck, but the dried desert land he leaves behind every team he's been on after he leaves. I don't know, he's too powerful to always have an excuse. It's too much. Jordan is my goat, and he's an asshole, but at least he's an honest asshole, and you know what to expect. Lebron is always trying to make himself look better than anyone. Not shown in the video, but remember that incident during an off-season where a young dude dunked on him (I think it was at one of his camps) and all his minions were trying to get the tapes so no one could upload the video? So lame. Also, I love your slow but constant decay into madness in this one, this was a good ride. Subscribed.

I think the issue stands with access to instant information with evolution of technology has allowed for ensuing generations to never learn how to learn but spew information from the internet. my generation was really the turning point where we laugh cause yes we do have a calculator in our pockets at all times but now no one learns how to math. Subsequently, evidence and facts are not enough to change someones mind or convictions. Lebron loyalists can not be convinced because how we see the NBA as softer and weaker they see it as more innovative and claim more talent. the abilities of the human race have not increased. while technology has increased hard work has fallen from grace, better understanding of medicine and recovery are not actually real but a figment, ever wonder how your dad or grandfather had that old man strength, I'll tell you it was hard work day in and out, not a day off. So semantically the Jordan purists and Lebron loyalists see and define good basketball different and problem solving between the two different interpretations will never jive.

Soon to be 40 year old LeBron signed a 2 year contract worth over $100 million 🤣😂🤣 his Podcast pal JJ got hired to pretend to be the coach on a 4 year $32 million contract 🤣😂🤣 and top it off with his son Bronny got drafted, he played one game as a starter, played 22 minutes in summer league and went 2-9, (22%) 0-3 for 3s, and 0-2 for free throws, and also signed a 4 year contract worth $7.9 million 🤣😂🤣 this next season is looking to be interesting...

The Defund the police was misinterpreted because of the name. It wasn't about taking all money from police but to allocate money for programs that could supplement policing with mental health specialist coming out and other areas. But Lebron is about likes on social media like Drake.

Yeah the name defund was used so poorly. That means to cut off funding which would be chaos. Reform the police would've been something anyone could back.

I've seen your responses claiming that your issue with defund is the wording, but you definitely react in the video as if you're assuming that everyone who says it really does want to get rid of the police entirely. That's why you're getting some pushback, and rightfully so. I'm with you on LeBron virtue signaling primarily for his branding, but that doesn't mean the cause he may be pretending to care about more than he really does isn't worthwhile in some cases. When I first heard your rage, I thought it was some sort of MAGA mask off moment since I know some people view the Jordan vs LeBron thing through a media created political prism, but you went the more liberal or centrist route of acknowledging that reform is needed. Unfortunately, calling for reform tends to lead to no real change, which was the point of using stronger language like defund in light of what happened to George Floyd and what has happened to many other victims of police violence. Anyhow, virtually no progressive politician who brought up defund the police ever described it that way. They always talked about how they just want to take away some of the funding (which is excessive in many cases) and allocate it to other services and whatnot so that the solution to every civil disturbance isn't to bring a gun to it and we'd have fewer (avoidable) tragedies. The vast majority of people in media who described defund the police as wanting to leave grandma with no one to call when people are robbing her were conservatives and establishment liberals who didn't want the status quo of police protecting property over people and police violence disproportionately impacting the poor and ethnic minorities to change.

If I take the politics out of it and hear the word defund it still means take away funding. To disarm then would be different. Balance of power would be different as well. Limiting how much power police have is something i can stsnd for proudly. But to take away funding for law enforcement leads to complete anarchy and i can't back that notion. I hear what you're saying but i can't back that wording.

@@TheRealMindCrime I agree with you, word been used in those situation are very important, If I said to someone " I will kill you! " and he called the police on me because he felt threatened , can I tell the police " well that's not what I meant.... "? nope, I will get in trouble for the word I used. If they don't meant that then dont use it, it's really that simple, why all the afterward excuses and explaining to justify it? I am sorry but all that " that's not what they meant and this is why....." isn't going to do anything, in government departments " defund " literally mean the disband of this department, just like " I will remove you from the face of the earth " is the same as " I will kill you ".

4 Finals appearances as a Heat member (I wanted to say Heater but that didn't sound right XD). Got beat in 6 games in 2011 to a Maverick team that honestly had no business being that deep and successful that year, but by the grace of God and a lot of luck, did it. 2012 and 2013 they win, then in 2014 they're swept by the Spurs by a young Kawhi Leonard and an old ass Tim Duncan trying to win another ring before retirement. That's a pretty horrendous record for a VERY young Heat team.
