For those that are asking how this happened? I can speak from personal experience. I was 8-9 and had to sort of hop up onto the lift and it was snowy/icy. My butt slid right off as the lift was going up (obviously, we weren’t near as high as this). My mom had one arm, my dad the other and I was hanging there as the chairlift kept going and going until other passengers got the attention of the lift operator. I was and still am an avid skier and wasn’t misbehaving, etc., I just literally slid off and the bar that comes down doesn’t protect little ones from sliding off lol. Hope this helps explain to those thinking these kids were screwing around…I mean, maybe they were, but not necessarily.

Luckily, with my mom and dad’s help and strength, along with my own, I was able to get my butt firmly planted. My parents were both strong, but I imagine in a sitting position, I weighed probably 50-55 pounds, skis. boots, and 14 layers of clothes, it probably wasn’t that easy.

Yes and kids are much smaller and thinner so youd be much like a feather floating around in a large vessel, nothing to keep you in. I remember as a kid just having to grip on as hard as I could to stop being propelled out of some of those amusement park rides that had no safety belts back then, it dis make the rides less enjoyable.

@@joyceyang6976 or if possible the lift a little lower. I don’t know. I was always a shorty and still only 5’4” but when I saw this it instantly reminded me of that situation. I remember we were about 12-15 feet so if I had fallen, it would’ve hurt and I remember thinking to myself, Jeez, are they ever going to stop this thing. Thank you guys for listening and not jumping to conclusions. I was reading the comments when I initially commented and it was “kids screwing around, the kids fault, etc.” and whereas I don’t have much tolerance for disrespectful morons, I actually had first hand experience of how this very bizarre situation could have happened and felt the need to share. 1. How did he get there good question? Bad parenting.. And 2. if you can't take a 12ft drop into the snow you shouldn't be skiing.
Did no one notice that dad is having to lean over his daughter (pink coat and little legs). It is truly a Miracle that he was able reach his son and hold on. There was no time to move her. It’s a beautiful thing to see people helping each other in order to achieve pure goodness & without rewards or compensation to motivate but just working together with a common goal of doing the right thing. Blessed Be! 😊
Thank God dad was strong enough to hold him. Omg after watching several times, I realised the people helping are kids. wow! they deserve a medal! Amazing!

not at all: the kid should not have allowed to be in that situation: he failed and endangered the kid
Faith in humanity restored seeing them creating a makeshift net for the boy to land on safely. ❤

If I were the Father I'd be in tears thanking every single one of them that helped an hugging the life out of them.

🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Благодаря на Бог! Благодаря и на всички Вас, които сте съпричастни и помагате! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
We don't know how long this all took to play out, but it warms my heart to see the people on the ground self organizing and just getting the job done.

I was surprised at how much the sling they made for him broke his fall. He had some serious momentum & weight going on by the time he hit it
