SO that code is auto generated by our softwware. Theres still a ton of work involved in making the software spit out the lines of code but it was not done by hand :) we tell the software how to move the machine and cut the material then it spits all those instructions into code the machine can read, aka the 7.5m lines

Deylan and his crew make the best production knives in the game and its great to have such a well put together insight into the process of how each of these knives are made. Many people really have no idea how much insane work and cost and time goes into making these beauties and why they cost what they do. Worth every cent

Very cool info. But I do have a question. Why harden before cutting? if you harden afterwards then you can run the tools faster and they last longer. Just curious as I have made a blade or two and normally don't harden until the end. Yes I have to clean them up afterwards but it still makes them easier to grind. And yes I use stock removal too only use a belt grinder.

The balisong market honestly isnt bad with price=build quality/service/material. Now the knife market in general used to be a problem like *ahem microtech*. But with more people doing startups on top of the huge advances in having utilities/tools/machines like smaller bench size CNC machines, 3d printers. Competition has really pushed prices down to where they should be.

Also I believe NRB also has a pretty distinct smell when getting direct. Maybe I'm just crazy but I swear if you blind-folded me and let me open direct-from-factory balis, I can guarantee you I can pick out which one is MW from the smell alone lol
