I have also seen some fixture thing inside the seat area that some toilets have, not favourite but anything over tissues. We do use tissues for drying after.

Try a full-blown bed! Uncle's home on husband's side, plastic cover still on, couldn't sleep the whole night! Also, house slippers, hello!!! For the restroom, stairs, etc. Wet wipes actually clog your toilets. Best thing is to use a bidet and then use a little toilet paper. And it points up, always up. The secret is to position it perfectly.

`*Yup. The remote thing is true. I've been in-charged with wrapping our TV remote since I was 13. 😅😅 `*Yeah, we have outside & inside shoes separately in our household as well. `*EWW... who cooks rice without washing?!!! 😱 `*I don't know about the bamboo thing. Though of all trees, why would you choose bamboo? Why not flowers, fruits or vegetable trees? `*The MAIN reason I would NEVER go to America is they don't wash after using the washroom. GROSS! 🤢 `*We don't use soy sauce in everyday cooking in our country so can't relate. `*It's been more than 8 years we bought our new fridge and we still didn't take the plastic off. `*I personally prefer to take my phone in private. Though the rest of my family doesn't do it. `*Yup, definitely handwashing the dishes. `*Don't invite the neighbors of the relatives, but do invite EVERY relative and neighbors we EVER knew during weddings events. `*Their dinner time table really confused me. I mean how can anyone have dinner before 8.30 pm? Don't they get hungry later at night?

Not upwards, not downwards. The best way to use bidets is front to back (easier for females) or back to front (better for males). And Indians use their hand (usually left) to regulate the flow too, if needed. I'm pretty confident that never once has this messy situation crossed our collective minds!

As a student you could either afford a good whiskey or good food on the weekend... So buy a good whiskey.. get dressed .. pick up a car.. park in any wedding banquet parking, tip out 200-300 to the waiter and your food and service for the night is done.. we would even sometimes give cash gift of say 2100 to the bridegroom (complete strangers) because that would still be way cheaper than the food our entire group.. but there used to be one rule.. never use the main course plates... Because catering is generally per plate basis.. so if you pick up those that going to cost the host..we didn't want that.. so gorge on finger snacks (tens in variety).appetizers. chat corners... Desserts... And you are sorted.. these would still be around 80-90 dishes in variety.. best to go with liquor... Who anyway wants Nan with daaru when you have tikkas..

Something a bit funny to me about this video is how Norway is closer on the Asian side than on the US side. Achara nailed the shoes inside topic. I was actually thinking about when I see Americans lie down on their bed with shoes on. It is crazy to me to do that. I would never just enter a house that I am visiting with my shoes on. Even when I get permission I take mine off. If there is a big hurry so that I would actually be more rude by slowing everyone down, I make that exception. I made it visiting specific, because in my own home I can give my self permission to enter. Like I forgot my wallet and I just need to get it so I can get on with my day. At anothers place I would make the effort regardless of how brief I had to re-enter. I could speak to all of the examples provided, but that would be too much writing. Thanks for the content guys. You two are a great combo. Utterly loving the Daredevil watch alongs.

Basically most of Asian habits are derived from nature (knowingly or unknowingly), like plastics covers extend life of remote etc. so lesser e-waste, less energy and materials consumed in production of replacement. That habit is very very eco-friendly. Toilet papers are necessary for extreme cold weathers especially in old times in under developed Europe. Else water is easy possible in Asia and again is most eco-friendly.

The thing about bamboo is that its believed to house supernatural entities (probably just tales to mess with children). When I was a kid and used to go to my grand-father's place which was located at a place where the road leading up to it had bamboos all around with no street lights either, and at windy nights walking through it was terrifying...😂😂

Food is not treated just as food. It is just like the same place we give for God. The room where we keep the food and the area around, must be clean, neat and hygienic. we give high importance. Indian moms don't enter the kitchen without bathing. And This paper thing, omg I can't imagine keeping ourselves clean after taking a dump using paper, regardless of what kind of technology used in papers. 😅 Achara, ofcourse pointing at the nozzle is the right answer. And the surroundings if the stomach is upset and you had a blast at the start😂. LMAO.... funny but true it is.

In Indian culture, use of bamboo is associated with the ritual of death. It is used for making a kind of stretcher for carrying dead body to the crematorium. That is why Indians do not plant bamboo in their gardens/backyards. But nowadays, this superstition is seen being ignored.

"Laminating" a couch comes from the habit of protecting the furniture and upholstery from dust in Asia. Since most countries in Asia do not practice living in fully airconditioned interiors, dust settles down in every nook and cranny of the pieces of furniture. It is difficult to get rid of dust from upholstery once it seeps in and much easier to wipe the "laminate" clean. Dust carries mites and harboring them spells ailments. So, it all has to do with hygiene and NOT with a lowly style of living.

I thought it would be just another random video with just few facts but damn I do relate to it a lot 😂 And achara's inquiry about how to use bidet?? 😂 And you guys don't know snacks?? 😳😳 And yes it's okay to crash in Indian weddings uninvited.. Although I haven't actually seen anyone do it in three idiots way 😂 but yeah if you are a friend of a friend to the relative whose friend is invited to a friend's relative wedding, you are most welcome to attend it.... You guys can't understand what a headache it was for people during covid when there was a government restriction on number of people during events..whom to invite and whom to ignore,But even after understanding the seriousness of situation and people themselves not willing to attend gatherings, the number of invites would still touch the 150- 200 mark because we can't ignore close relatives and that's the number for close relatives.... 😌 Nowadays there is a system of invite's only to few high society weddings (maybe for security reasons or just influenced )but I am pretty sure that even those who are invited also constitute a large number and you can always tag along with someone who is invited..

Bidet sits horizontally with its end on the back edge of your seat, so full water speed will hit a little below the front inside, all you do after that is just wiggle on the water stream, all the water will drop straight down when you wash, no mess at all. I would send a photo if there were a discord
