I took my children to the mall about 7 years ago. It was right after I had left my abusive husband. The mall was quiet and we didn't realize Santa was even there. I didn't have enough money for pictures but Santa waved us over. He had all of us hold hands and sing jingle bells! He then correctly guessed there ages! He wished us a merry Christmas and gave them candy canes. My children still believe i either called ahead or i told him! I was just as surprised as them! It was the best!
You can tell this man is genuinely happy and living his passion. He was born for this! Love how he is training more Santas too!! 😂 Respect to Santa Rick 💯

How many mall Santa's and co. are practicing Christians? I mean, aside from on Christmas Day? How many of them give a damn about the poor? The struggling? Christ himself? How many even care about just making people happy? At least this guy has a positive motivation. And let me remind you, Jesus was a Jew. All good people with joy in their hearts should be allowed to play Santa. They care more about you than the corporations shoving consumerist Christmas down your stocking. That's all that matters to me, as a Catholic.

@@dishonoredundead 1. Jesus Christ was not born on Christmas or in December. 2. Santa is a product (like a toy). I seriously don't understand what your idea of Christmas is because I wasn't raised religious, but you're clearly very confused.
I like how Rick is just enjoying his life and doing things which gives him joy, irrespective of religion. Big lesson to learn here.
I've been Santa for 3 years now. Adults can be mean but the kids light up. 👍🏾

adults forget that they were kids once and forget how it felt being a kid. i always made sure to remember what it felt like being a kid. put myself in a kid shoes. Minds full of imagination and curiosity.

The legend of Santa Claus can be traced back hundreds of years to a monk named St. Nicholas. It is believed that Nicholas was born sometime around 280 A.D. in Patara, near Myra in modern-day Turkey. Much admired for his piety and kindness, St. Nicholas became the subject of many legends. It is said that he gave away all of his inherited wealth and traveled the countryside helping the poor and sick. One of the best-known St. Nicholas stories is the time he saved three poor sisters from being sold into slavery or prostitution by their father by providing them with a dowry so that they could be married.

We love Santa Rick, I almost caught him once when I was 8, I heard the reign deer on the roof and everything.
i was pleasantly surprised that this was very enjoyable to watch. glad i did.

This brought tears to my eyes... I don't know Santa Rick, but I love him... We are fairly new at being Santa and Mrs Claus here in Alberta, Canada... and have been hoping to attend a Santa School this year.... Must check out this one. First I hope Santa Rick is doing well. I will have you in my Prayers. I have been Santa for 26 years now. I have seen it all. I see the love and pride you have and it’s great. I am only 53 and first did Santa when I was just 17 years old. Many years later I was honored to do it again and have not stopped since. I however can’t grow the beard as long as you. Any suggestions? I have seen kids as babies and now those babies are having families.. it’s amazing.. thanks for all you do and I hope your well. Santa Pat

@@1954telecaster Sure and, modern Christians are in no way related to the teachings of Jesus Christ. And Jesus Christ would probably be appalled if he saw the modern result of his teachings. That would be if he was real, and his teachings weren't such crap, of course. I guess that's what happens when religions are based off of ancient superstitions thought up by illiterate bigots. Oh well.

@@deargodwhyme Every single on of them. Sure, they all have a few sentences that are decent. But the qualities you're mentioning (which I agree with) have nothing to do with the superstitious beliefs in any of those religions. "Do on to others, as you want others to do onto you" etc. existed long before both Christianity, Judaism, Islam etc. And those few sentences do not outweigh the detrimental effects that religions have had on humanity.
