Who exactly is this famous john guy?

Work has been keeping me busy. And it’s especially bad working weekends, because that seems like the best time to make progress. I’m still in Champ, and I recognize a lot of the people you’re racing against. Maybe that means a lot of people have moved into Unreal and I’ll have an easier time of it now. But at least from the last time I played it seemed unwise for me even make any attempt when there was less than 5k people playing. I know that I still have a lot of time, but it’s super tempting when I know that a good session is all I need to get to Unreal (I’m currently 60%+).

Sadly I have to break it to you but unreal players get into lobbies with champs and even some elites. So it’s likely you are or will get into lobbies with unreals. No matter what good luck with the grind

Also, is anyone aware of a fix for the checkpoint bug on Olympus? I feel like it might be a fps or old Gen thing, because it doesn’t seem to effect anyone but me. But what I experience is that when I leave the top of the tunnel and cross the lap checkpoint, flying to the top of the other tunnel, is that it doesn’t register that I hit the checkpoint. And the only way around it I’ve found is flying through the bottom half. To be clear, it’s not even like I’m flying over it. There’s not even a reason to fly that high.

Hold your drift button while you’re in the air

Yea, put drifting on an extra button, so that it is not the same button like flight roll and then push the drift button while riding and hold the drift button while jumping and flying.
