For most of you who don’t know this is just an updated port of the Xbox version for the PS4 and PS5. The saddest thing about this update is that there is no music for Roblox on Xbox anymore 😢 R.I.P, but the best part about this update is that you can add your og Xbox account to any device like a phone and you can friend people cross-platform. Just letting you guys know.

Well, I think it's because the developers have done the xbox controls because roblox for xbox was available before the PS. Now that Roblox has been added to PS, developers will have to make controls for the PS controllers.

I tried it out a day after it released, it was amazing in the games, I could finally play my favorite games at good fps and/or graphics It's kind of buggy in the catalog tho, but I'm happy it works well with the games, which, is the most essential thing

Ok so here is a little tutorial to play games on ps4 and ps5 so to use the side stuff click the big pad button on the controller and to start to move again click pause and go back in game hope this helps.

If a game had Xbox support you can play it on PS5/4, for the games that don't it's a matter of just waiting since you won't be able to play them correctly.

Does in-experience/platform text chat or chat with voice work for users on console? Not yet, but we are working on enabling these features for console devices in the future. We will make sure to provide an update once we have more details on timing. For launch, please make sure in-experience/platform text chat and voice chat is disabled in your experience on console. Resources Thai has say it will come out in the future

to answer your question, you can't type, because you would spend waaayyyyy too much time just finding the letters, typing them in, and then sending them in. also, that chat bar on the screen would probably take up a lot of space, considering most players would be playing on a tv and would be far away from it, so they would have to make it bigger.

Roblox removed the chat feature a few years ago for all console players. The reason was that roblox was rated E on the microsoft store, and E rated games can't have a 3rd party chat/messaging feature.

I like the Pc original port the most because your Can unlock your fps chat players and change oof sound

honestly, im pretty disappointed for the playstation port because they completely ditched the essential optimization for the ps port, so for an example, if you play arsenal or doors or basically any game with a couple of assets, your not gonna get the best performance. roblox ignored the optimizations because they just thought that the playstation was already too strong enough to depend on optimization in performance (Im not sure if its only doing this to ps4 or both so dont get mad, its just a thought)

This is so true. For ANY game I play with assets (which is literally 90% of the games) it takes me a few minutes to fully load in. The more assests the longer the loading. I will load into a game and have to sit there for about 2-5 minutes for everything to fully render in. For example in fighting games, I literally can NOT fight, throw a punch, or even block until every last pixel loads in. So you know what that means for me? I'm getting my ass beat until the game decides to let me play 🤦‍♂️

I've played it on Playstation. I expected it to be awful like the Roblox XBox version. Playstation genuinely surprised me. It looks super good. If Roblox ever releases on the switch, it would just be 4 pixels on screen. We all know every 3rd party port is awful.
