I agree about the recycled knitwear. It usually tends to be polyester too, or a mix. Not my favourite. I shave all my knitwear too! It’s strangely addictive 🤣

It always amazes me when I see KZread videos about capsule wardrobes, 10 by 10 challenge etc, packing carry on only. There are always so few items that people must be wearing them multiple times, or else mixing up all the colours in the laundry to have enough stuff to wear, as there's never enough whites for instance to be able to save up for a white wash!

Leopard print is eternal. It is the world’s best neutral! My friends are lawyers, doctors, writers, engineers, artists and teachers, and they all wear leopard print. It kind of demands that the wearer be taken seriously, but also signals that the wearer doesn’t take themselves too seriously either. True fashionista’s know how to style it well, and in good taste. Have some fun ladies, as life’s too short to be boring, and worry about what other people think. Ps. It’s a huge trend for 2024, so rock that leopard print!!!😍

@@Myover50fashionlife I actually wore a v-neck leopard print black and brown sweater to my mom’s 75th birthday this past weekend, with an over the knee jean skirt with a slit in the front, black tights , knee high 3” heels, black leather boots, and gold rhinestone Chanel earrings, and the compliments were coming left and right, and from complete strangers too. It made my night, and I guess I just want other women to know that they can rock leopard print in many ways, and look super chic and stylish, and they mean business, lol. I completely understand if you would rather not wear this print in a sweater, but maybe in your accessories instead😊. Love your content!

I think the point was that huge animal prints (which are often difficult to pull off in any kind of print) and head to toe animal prints tend to look lower class, like Carol Burnett's character Laverne from her show, or a mobster's moll like that played by Michelle Pfeiffer in the movie Married to the Mob.

Do the dance test too. Waaay back in my twenties I wore a strapless dress to a disco. I was having a lovely time prancing around and all these football players kept coming up to me. I wasn't interested. Years later I was at a course and one of the other attendees said "'Oh I remember you. You were dancing at Regines a few years back and every time you lifted your arms up in the air you flashed you boobs at everyone".

The idea of recycled knitwear is great but when it bobbles, even before it leaves the shop, and ESPECIALLY where a seatbelt rubs..well there's nothing sustainable or environmentally friendly about that! Very often the de-bobbler can't even revive the piece. The UK's favourite store is a huge culprit regarding this 🙈....when will they catch on, or don't they care?
