I agree with you on that because when I was 7, once my Mom took me on a roller coaster at an amusement park when we got to the top, something went wrong & our coaster got stuck! I had to calm my Mom down until help came to get us back down on the ground again. I have never been on another coaster since that moment in my life.

Why not? They key to getting over a fear of roller coasters is to simply trust the system, coasters are among the safest machines on the planet, they are designed with safety in mind. You are WAY more likely to die on a plane crash than a roller coaster, the odds of dying on a roller coaster are one in 750 million. Hell you are more likely to win the lottery than die on a roller coaster.

Not only is this well detailed and shows the whole track layout, but they show the WHOLE THING RUNNING. Respect.

Just rode this today, super fun ride! The scariest part, though, is the lift hill. It's considerable steeper than normal at 45 degrees and makes it feel quite intimidating. But the ride was fast and smooth!

What blew me away was the perfect sky creating perfect light in the entire setting. The silence of the coaster on the rails was sick man. Chick in front was class.

I was just there over the weekend. Nothing is going to beat X2 for a long time, but this was easily the second best ride in the park. Haven't had a coaster lift me off my butt like this one in many years!

For those of you that are unfamiliar, a block zone is a section of ride that only one train may occupy. At the end of a block zone is a method to stop the train in case the block zone ahead is still occupied. This is the safety system that prevents roller coaster trains from colliding with one another.

When I was 18 I loved coasters, 20 years later I feel like getting on one would kill me! I totally get where you're coming from. I can't do heights either, when I'm driving up mountain roads or even those high up interchanges here in soCal I just try not to look to the side. Can't stand it.

This is a very smooth RMC single rail coaster. Thank Alan Schilke and the other engineers for building a safe, and thrilling ride. Fun fact, Alam Schilke also designed X² when he was with the now defunct Arrow Dynamics. So, Magic Mountain has TWO Alan Schilke coasters!

She’s brave! I would not be able to get on, and to boot, pull it off with such grace!

What a good sport. The straps did not look nearly tight enough on her, I was so worried about her head snapping forward and how she kept leaning out the sides. I know there is a lap belt as well but man is she tiny. Looks like a fun coaster, I would totally ride it.

The straps were tight enough, the ride wouldn’t be allowed to operate if people who have a small frame could fall off of it. I think it looks a bit lose because part of the strap if flexible

Getting on a rollercoaster having a deep fear of heights is always the best when you get used to it. Fun way to break the fear but in the end it always comes back lol my first ride was the one where it took forever to get to the top and then the drop was nasty. Felt like I jumped from my seat... Lolol I was so scared but that's what I do, face my fears.

I’ve been on Jersey Devil (A little different from this ride but about the same) I got to say that the drop is awesome and super fast. The inversions feel super fast too and I would 100% recommend riding it if you’re in the area of Magic Mountain or Great Adventure

with the only real difference being the turn out of the station (who cares), and one little extra hump to the break run (maybe 5% better than max, still seems like either could've had an inversion in that section), it is to be believed. If you like one, you'll like the other. Also the ride is longer even though it goes fast through the layout than all those 30 second high speed coasters (after you wait...literally at all) they keep building.

The jersey devil is so fun to ride. I live only 20 minutes away so I ride the coaster at least one time when I go to visit on the weekend

She did great. There is a journalist that rides Steel Vengeance at Cedar Point and records it - he was not prepared for what was about to hit him. Pure comedy.
