To be fair it was just the first treatment so it probably didn’t bother her too much yet plus her dad gave her nausea meds before so that probably helped.

I worked at MSK for 30 years - you can’t be in better hands!

Ronald McDonald houses are amazing. Not just for cancer patients. My nephew had heart surgery and his parents stayed there. I always round up when I eat at McDonald's to donate. 😊

My grandson was 6 weeks premature. He was born in Edmonton Alberta Canada. My son and his girlfriend stayed in the Ronald McDonald House. What a blessing they were to them!!❤️🇨🇦❤️🇨🇦❤️

Wonder girl - she should write a book about herself or a comic for other children with medical problems. When a neighbour was staying in a Ronald Mc Donald house they had problems with the cost of eating and travel expenses so the village got together and made a donation - the child lived and is doing very well again all odds. Your rockstar is a Trojan and the family are terrific. Rock on little girl.

When some friends of mine stayed at a Ronald McDonald house, I loaded up my vehicle with drinks, snacks and some fruit for the family. I took fully cooked meals as well for the family. The family has 3 children who have all received Make A Wish trips. They have 5 children in total. The entire family would stay close to the hospital so it was helpful to take food to them as well as other necessary supplies. When they left the house they donated any unused foods that we brought them so other families could have something as well. Praying for total recovery and remission for Kendall.

Words never seem able to describe just how incredible Kendall is and I'm always left in awe at her strength and joy - Rockstar indeed! Sending love and prayers. ❤

Our identical twins were born 14 weeks early, so we stayed at the Ronald McDonald house for 96 days and we left with two healthy little girls. Can’t say enough about what it meant to have the staff at the house attend to our every need. Love the RMH, stayed at several in different states w/my medically complex daughter. They're not only for cancer patients just an FYI as you spread awareness, as other viewers may not know. RMH is a blessing for so many families in various medical crisis/situations. People don't realize that medical bills aren't the only thing that make taking care of an ill or complex child so expensive. Lost wages, travel, food, laundry, over the counter stuff like bandages, ointments, and all the things. Being away from home in the hospital or outpatient expenses add up and a parents' focus needs to be solely on the child, not how to pay for such things in addition to keeping a roof over the rest of the family's head and keeping the health insurance paid, etc. Plus when your child is going through the hell of cancer or whatever their illness or condition may be, you want to provide them with the cozy blankets or jammies or comfort items or toys to keep them busy and lift their spirits and it all adds up. When you know, you know. RMH is a true blessing to so many. So glad you and Kendall are having a good experience there and it's one less worry or expense. NYC is pricey, that's for sure.

Going through my own medical issues, and watching Kendall gives me strength. She is doing great, what a rockstar! 🩷

It's a very nice McDonald's house..I do the same thing when I have to go to the mayo in Rochester MN..I'll either drive back and forth the 2 and a half hours each way every day that I need to go or get hotel room to save room for people who travel further and need the room.. That machine is kind of cool.. Kendall..you did amazing ice skating..I love your jokes..I pass some on to my brother..he loves to tell me jokes so now I have jokes for him.. ❤❤

Kendall is definitely a Rockstar 🎉🎉🎉. I would ask about using Aquafor on her skin that is being radiated. Radiation burns are quite common-I am still feeling the side effects from it years later. Talk about a trooper. It’s almost unbelievable. Wow is she going to go on and show the world a few things. And to you as her Dad - such a hard journey and you do it with her positivity and energy. Yes she does carry that million dollar smile everywhere she goes and is such a trooper. Having watched you for some time now I think she gets her positive energy and go get um spirit from her dad ❤. I recently started following a young girl (8) who went into heart failure and just had a heart transplant last week and they are also staying at the Ronald McDonald house ( in Pittsburgh) so I loved hearing all the positive things about staying there. I hope these treatments go quickly and Kendall can be done with all the medical stuff. She is one awesome girl 😻
