I have been riding a Harley since I was 18 and the HA clubhouse was just a few miles north of me I never joined the club but I have some very good friends in the club. And I tell you that the safest neighborhood in any part of the world is living in the vacinity of an HA clubhouse and I personally wish to thank you for using the word Club and not like every other reporter who always uses gang.

Imagine that..taking off your gloves when you shake hands and taking off your sunglasses when you talk to someone. These things are simply common courtesy.

I’ve seen plenty of people that keep their sunglasses on when talking. This is especially annoying it the lenses on the glasses are mirrored. My sunglasses go off as soon as I sm inside. I can’t see anything and since I can’t even sign my name without my glasses, having sunglasses on is just crazy!!

Why, mine are ordinary progressive glasses, shades though; I see bugger all w/o them. I keep them on; don't have to talk to those that take offence. Of course I don't shake hands with gloves on, I knew that in the fuckin 60s.

I have known a few HA, Outlaws and affiliated bikers and their friends and families, from prospects to a chapter Prez, ( several have retired). I would trust them before anyone in a polite society management position. They respected me and I respected them and we never had any issues. I was honoured when a member asked me for advise on how to deal with his teenage daughter and how he could keep her from dropping out of school. Every Dad wants better for their kids and if you want to experience a painful death mess with a Bikers family member.

The photo of the B-17 named "Hell's Angels" was not as stated from the Flying Tigers but from the 8th Air Force operating out of England. The photo would have likely been taken around November of 1943. The plane and crew arrived in England early in 1943 and began combat mission in April. The aircraft, crew, and ground crew would be the second B-17 to achieve the 25 mission mark that meant they would rotate back to the US. The first crew and craft, "Memphis Belle" had left prior to this and the Hell's Angels crew replaced them on the war bond tour. My late uncle, Captain John Johnston, was the pilot and he is shown kneeling in the photo.

You will hear of that in prisons. The hardest criminal can be in jail, just a look from one of them enough to turn your blood to ice. There have been stabbings inside jail. But the minute they hear someone is a Chomo that’s it. You are pretty much done for. Probably even worse than just any ordinary person being a molester would be if they were someone in law enforcement along with being a molester. There have been instances where the father of the child wanted revenge against the molester. Not something they have to worry about. It will be taken care of in prison. You could say it falls under the heading “honor among thieves.”

I knew a woman who was an amazing artist. She had a degree in zoology and had mastered the craft of jewelry molding. Aside from very unique jewelry specialties, she cast skulls of animals. She had a booth at both the North and South Renaissance Faires (1970s-80s), which is how I met her, as I taught fencing there for 20 years. HAs would sometimes come to the fair in "civies." For some reason, they did not wear their colors at the Faire, possibly because they would have probably not been able to get in. (I once gave one a fencing lesson. A big guy, he was completely flummoxed as I, a smaller man, pinned him against the wall of the booth with my point on his chest). Anyway, this artist produced a piece of jewelry that apparently looked too much like a HA symbol. So they threatened her by mail. They told her to stop using their symbols in her work. She contacted them and they invited her to meet with them at their Oakland Clubhouse. Once there, she told them that she was ready to die for her art. They were so impressed with her courage that they ended up commissioning her as their official artist for producing their pins and jewelry. She was a really cool woman. We were pretty good friends, but I lost track of her in the 90s after she stopped showing up at the faires. I don't know what happened.

The mc I was in charges 20 per month as hangaround, 50 for probate and 70 for all patch members. Then you have mandatory runs that all patch members and probates must attend, that requires money for food, fuel and hotels (I crashed at clubhouses to save money.) Road captains inspect bikes for worn tires and leaks that could present hazards. You can be excused from mandatory runs for job and family stuff. That's as far as I can discuss the club. Hello, from Australia. In 1982 I embarked on a 18 mth. motorcycle trip around Australia. I was riding a 500cc Yamaha XT trailbike, was 26 at the time and had arrived 2 years earlier from Germany. On the way to Darwin, in the middle of nowhere, I was overtaken by an convoy of cars, all towing trailers with big Harleys. All beeped their horns, waved to me, one guy even passed me a can of beer out of the car window, all while we were doing 110 km/h. The next day I arrived in Darwin, went to a local pub with pool, in those days one could use their pools if one was drinking in the beer garden. At the pool I got talking to some older guys, by that time I knew they where Hells Angels, and admittedly I was a little intimidated by their tattoos und physic....but than the penny dropped! Are you the guy we passed on that bike yesterday? Yep....I was. In short...a big hello, the guy with the icy cold beer shook my hands....did I enjoy the beer? For that night they had planned a big garden party next to the pool, pig on the spit, salads, free beer, the works. And guess what? I was the only outsider guest invited, besides some good looking local girls,....apparently they admired my love for motorcycling, but also that as a young German I was travelling around Australia on a bike. The fact that I was riding a cheap Jap bike was easily forgiven....because I rode some really rough outback trails. It was one the most memorable nights I ever had! Those guys looked rough, some must have taken steroids, but they were a great bunch of decent guys from all walks of life, and so were their wives and girlfriends. Speaking of wives and girlfriends.....I was, in a very friendly way, made aware that all females that night where strictly off limits to me, otherwise I might be death meat! That was fair enough for me. I was in Sturgis in 1983 (selling biker stuff), when the Hells Angels rode into town. Apparently they were 500 strong. They had previously been 1000, 500 approaching from 2 directions, but the other half had been stopped by police outside town. They rode in military formation, and stopped and parked their motorcycles simultaneously. Sonny Barger himself came up to our table, in full battle dress, flanked by his sergeant at arms and some other club officer, all armed to the teeth. They bought all our Sturgis rocker pins, with the name of the town (the site of the giant annual biker meet we were attending) and the year. They would wear them as an insult to the Jokers. See, Sturgis was Gypsy Joker territory, and the Hells Angels were are war with them. The Jokers thought it best not to stay around! They had all left the day before. The town was tense for a few hours, then they all returned to their bikes, started them all simultaneously, and rode back out of town.

There are government agents in pretty much any organization such as this, or a militia. Sure, they may not infiltrate a small militia of a dozen people where they all know each other, but the large militias are all infiltrated. 100% guaranteed the HA MC is infiltrated also. He gives Grace and time on earth to sincerely repent and change your mind and heart in accordance to His Sovereign Standards and Laws. Whoever you are, change your mind while alive, sincerely repent, do not cross over God's patience by doing evil in His eyes and thinking you can get away with it forever. Sharing my thoughts solely on the incident at concert, the hells angels had to stop this man that was killed once prior from attempting to jump on stage and he wasn't stabbed or hurt,so then he attacks another fan and pulls out a gun and this is what led to this man's death. If it would have been your average Joe that stopped the man from shooting someone by stabbing him society would be calling him a hero. But since it was a Hells Angel it was a brutal murder driven by racism.Society always playing the poor victim role, some groups more than others. The video we just watched shows who instigated things, the ends result just wasn't in his favor

I knew Al Maysles and we spoke about the concert where the guy was stabbed. He and his brother were shooting the concert. The guy with the guy actually shot several bullets toward the stage and indeed someone on stage was hit. I noticed they didn't mention anything about that in this video.

Back in 1974 I was 15 yrs old. Went to a Alice Cooper concert (my first one) with my 14 yr old girl friend at the Swing Auditorium in So Calif.. We were standing in front of the gates when all of a sudden people started pushing and bent them open.... we had to start running or get run over. But in just 30 seconds we all realized we we're the only ones in and we all just started walking....got to the entrance and they took our tickets, walked in and you could go wherever you wanted. So we went up to the stage of course. Big mistake! When Alice started performing (Welcome to my Nightmare tour) People PUSHED...I had my arms up against the short fence in front of the stage trying to keep my girlfriend safe...but it was too much for me....all of a sudden these huge biker dudes (later found out Hell's Angels) muscled up to the front center...right where we were and one said "Well aren't you 2 about the cutest thing!"...and they formed a half circle and protected us until the concert was over....passed us a whisky bottle we pretended to swig off of and had me hand it to Alice who took a swig during the performance. WE had a great time, they were so friendly...never ever forget.
