100% agree with what you said about Jana Shatabdi.. I go to Thiruvananthapuram 2-3 times a month in Kozhikode Shatabdi and return by the same train.. Every time I board the train, I wonder when these coaches will be replaced.. It was built at least 15 years ago and one of the oldest in currently running trains, for no doubt.. If your phone or device doesn't have enough charge then you are in the wrong place.. No charging ports.. While modern coaches give you individual USB charging ports on each seat, Jana Shatabdi gives you only one charging point per entire coach.. A special package from IRCTC which takes you back to the early 2010s. Leg space and ventilation of the coaches together will provide glimpse of Wagon Tragedy.. The only advantage of the train is the accuracy and short duration it takes to reach the destination.. Hopefully, IRCTC will understand the plight of passengers and bring new coaches soon..

Kudos to you for pointing out the issue regarding the Jan Shatabdi Express. Being a regular traveller I can say the train is just a nightmare when it comes to the condition of the coaches. Especially beyond Shoranur towards Kannur/Kozhikode when the train starts running at 110 kmph the coaches literally rattle like anything. Its a disaster waiting to happen if they don't do something about this real quick 😥

All the best for your forthcoming trips..stay blessed..stay safe,both of you..regarding the Jan Shatabdi,please do videos of both,in kerala,and another state with better arrangements, if and when time permits...it's only a humble suggestion...it might help the authorities and the public.

What you said about Jan shatabadi is 100% correct, I travelled very recently from Kayamkulam to TVC, OMG it was annoying, all coaches if u observe the seats do not have proper backrest adjuster, the toilets are the worst, And most of the coaches were build in 2008, 2007 year,. What to do this is the Saddest affair. And ventilation is like u will be sitting inside a furnace.🤭🤭🤭
