It's great the SBA is investigating this. It still doesn't explain why legitimate business are being treated like they are, with automated declines due to miscommunication between SBA and IRS. Some of us are actually trying to get back to life here, and taking in more debt is risky as is in this correct climate. I wish they would treat us better, as this is just unnecessary stress. They are not after the ones that is doing the right thing. It is the scammers they are after. SBA messed up last year with the first loan, and a lot or most of the money went to undeserving, fraudulent individuals. The bottom line is, this is not free money (including the grants), this money will have to be paid back by the taxpayers (us). So, I am glad they are doing something to stop this "frauding."

I'm waiting on my Targeted advance and my Supplement Targeted Advance as well as reconsideration for EIDL Loan. Can I ask how long the process took you to get approved for the targeted and when you submitted your application. My Application was submitted on July 22nd.

Finally got approved for the Targeted EIDL and denied the Supplemental EIDL in the same day today. Was denied Supplemental because biz was “started post pandemic”,although i’ve been Ubering sin April 2019……. Still scratching my head on that one.

Much great content. On a lighter note as to Skip's cadence. Any typed transcripts of Skip's video clips would be speed typed with no punctuation marks. 🤣

I am stuck in the INVARIABLE BUCKET DUE TO THE ZEROS ON MY TAX RETURNS TRANSCRIPT OF 2019 when they send the 4506-T I have an appointment with my local TAS office to file an amended tax return to get them stamped and see if they will except those

My SBA Portal has a problem with the "review and accept amount" link, so I can't proceed with modification of loan. Still awaiting SBA to correct it.

Signed closing documents verified identification, and electronic disbursement but portal still says processing after a week how long does it usually take to get funded

What is the need for the low income policy map for qualification when someone's tax return would do the same thing?

I went to update my business information in your app. and saw many EIDL loans under the same business name. While I haven't yet received one at all from either rounds. Now on the 1st round via phone call the SBA confirmed my bank information and my information. And I was told I would receive the $10,000 and not the loan. But I did not receive it at all. I am so confused. And I have this round email the SBA more times than I can count in follow-up on my application from the Targeted advance invitation and application.

You know these people that do the fraud are good at that. This is what they do. I’m a small business owner. All I want is what they promised. I’m not in the business of tricking the SBA into giving me money. I’m trying to keep my business afloat. I do my taxes and run a legitimate small business. I’m not smart enough to figure out fraud, nor do I have the time. Thank you Skip for hanging in there with us. 💞

Many of us do not fall into any of this. I went through reconsideration so they got all my tax returns, my identification,my banking info,my transcripts for two years. This is an excuse Its easy to figure this out.

Applied for a loan modification on july1, my page shows the modification is still processing

I have been stuck for months. I submitted everything required

The few bad apples always ruins it for the rest of us!!

That's why I only help family and very close friends.....and they take me to my favorite restaurant

Loan is in OBLIGATION and loan officer emails me about unverifiable information. After overcoming Reconsideration, SBA Management phone conference, and SBA loan processing team approval. Now SBA Management Team has taken control of my file for a decision. I'm hopeful but kind of pissed 😤. But God has last word. I have faith that I will receive funding in Jesus name.

Denied July 10 due to failure to verify business existence due to zipcode. I sent 4506T corrected with necessary information and sent Business state certificates. I have also contacted local SBA representatives and Senator Rob Portmans office. They still have not uploaded my information to the system.

I have a legitimate business but I couldn't get a loan; I'm done with the SBA !! I'm not trying any longer. A far as the fraud, I know of a lot of people who didn't have a business at all but got 40k. If they gave out a nice size of money for turning people in I bet they would get plenty of information!

What’s about the unemployment?

Our loan processing still states “loan modification is in process” since April 15th. We are a legitimate business since 2008 and we are re a BBB A+ member. It would seem that business that have EIN and registered with SAM should be easier to see. I don’t understand how this is a problem. They check my husband and I and our company thoroughly. So I don’t understand how there was so much fraud.

Hi My sba increased has been approved and got letter but after that I received email to complete the next step on online portal but when I logged in there are no steps to complete and no documents to sign and I contacted the SBA since my loan has been approved and they say my concern has been notated but it's almost 3 weeks nothing change could you please let me know if it's normal anyone else having same problem?

I received my EIDL increase, but it was only half of what I had been told I was eligible for and applied for. No reasons given, and when I sent emails to try to find out why, I get responses but my actual questions were ignored and useless information that I already knew was spewed back at me.

Ambrose, I received half also last month after emailing the SBA several times I later got a response to contact usafundingassistance on Instagram which I did and now I got my remaining half last week

I received an email on July 31 to confirm amount more the original request. Amount confirmed and completed all signings.. Currently no approval and still processing with no updates. This is so frustrating because I'm not sure if it's moving forward.

I received the 1st loan 7/2020, maximum amount ($15,000) for both grants, and EIDL Increase has been approved and enrouted to my bank. I applied for the increase in April 2021, and the grants May 2021 and funded for the grants 6/28/2021. SBA is moving fast now after they had got rid of the last group. So, those of you that haven't been funded, be patient any day now it is coming.

Hi skip I still need help with my EIDL Targeted and Supplement Grant. Applied in July 11, 2020 denial.from SBA July 14, 2020. I filled reconsideration July 17, 2020. On my EIDL SBA Portal July ,14 2021 it said approved for targeted and Supplemential Grant. July,15 2020 said submitted. July 29.2021. I get denial letterfrom SBA can't. Varifiy my business. and withdrawal due to can't verify my bank. I've been banking with my bank for over 13 years and received ppp1 and ppp2 direct deposit .my. Taxes returns have the same information on them. What do I do

Now when I enter my EIDL Portal. It's asking. For 1040 2019 taxes return. I send a copie. And it appears four different times on the portal. Saying I send the 2018 taxes return please send 2019 press continue and it won't except them I send 2019 taxes forms 4 time my portal stays the same And. The portal remains. The same all other documents say received 4506 t received. I applied for this July 11, 2020. Why are they giving me a hard time. If I don't qualify .I am in a targeted low income community.. I use the same paper work for my ppp loans. Don't I qualify for a least the Grants someone help me. I am waiting over a year.

Wow thIs is really good info. There's quite a few security based features now. Thinking back to last year, the program was pretty wild west. It was basically fill out a form and get 1k dep to your bank account.

I was approved on Friday and today I received the funds 🙏🏽
