There's something nostalgic and sentimental talaga about how the sun shines during the golden hour, no matter the place or setting. It felt almost like walking with you on those streets I used to frequent to some years ago

man they seriously need to widen that sidewalk. if i have contact with the local authorities or whoever's in charge i'd petition they double the width of the walk path and increase the height of the railings by a foot. just watching this gives me so much anxiety, almost like i'm gonna get shoved accidently down the river by approaching pedestrians 😅

what happen to adb's edsa greenway project? is it on the works or not???

Just to put this out there. The Philippine Department of Transportation already has a plan ready to make wider sidewalks here with an added bike path. They already have funding and are just waiting for the OK from Local Governments. The problem is that the Local Governments represented by the Manila Development Authority has been ghosting them and is even opposing their plans by building a "motorcycle lane" in the proposed sidewalk expansion space.

My guess is, MMDA's priority is to ease the heavy traffic first at EDSA before they can reclaim some of the lanes on the road and convert it to sidewalks and bike lanes. They've been ridiculed so much by the public already by failing to solve the issue of traffic at EDSA, so they don't want to be incriminated again if this plan from DOTr won't work.

They need to plant tons of trees along EDSA.

stop voting for old family names, such as Marcus, Akino, Istrada, Makafagal, Arowyo, Inrili, Du30 etc they have been in the office for 70 years and nothing happened but stagnation. Start voting for the new names and next generation such as Tulfo, Vico Sotto

Everywhere you go, you'll see people walking. Manila is too crowded! I wish the government does something to spread the population through out the whole country. The provinces are beautiful! There are simply no work for people to be able to support themselves.

it is impossible, why do you think it is crowded in Seoul S.Korea, Tokyo Japan, New York USA, Taipei, Taiwan etc. Why do you think the population on rural areas are almost zero in comparison to urban in these nations? Do you know that there are literal ghost towns in these countries? Do you think this is unique only to the Philippines? People live in cities bro. What we need to do is improve transportation, housing, employment, security etc

@@benoktorres9520 Crowded here in the USA? New York City, the most populous city here in the USA has population of 11,313 per square kilometer. Compare that to Metro Manila with 42,857 people per sq. km. Los Angeles has 7.476 people per sq km.
