I think it would be mostly expats taking this i found the rooms rather small and of cause there would be service costs and electric/gas added to the price. The view was ok mine is better a selling point was the view and where it was situated location is of important as to the price.

No it is less 80% of population live of money they get from government that is 600€-1500
Indeed expensive 🤯 We pay 500 euro/ month for a 120 sq m apartment close proximity to the city centre of Kazan ( the third capital city of Russia). In comparison our interior is much more luxurious than the one shown in your video. With very modern furniture, 2 big restrooms, 2 balconies. Oh and we are in gated community with own underground parking, children's playground and 24/7 security. The Europian cities are way way overpriced.
I really enjoyed this video! I liked the discussion in the comments as well regarding the kind of clientele that would rent these places.

Two sinks and no toilet in the intimate bathroom? That is very Dutch LOL

Yes! I was expecting to see another toilet in the bathroom upstairs. That’s why I thought downstairs is where the guests will spend time. But it turns out, everyone will use that toilet.

@@MakingitinHolland Yes, have to take the stairs to use the toilet in the middle of the night. It's a cute apartment, but whoever designed it has a very peculiar perspective on things. I also agree on the kitchen, a very expensive oven with a micro fridge. Is it some sort of hotel conversion? It might suit people for short term stays on tourism, but at that price I hope you can rent a decent 4 or 5 bedroom house instead!!

It’s in the Lee Towers near Marconiplein. It used to be office buildings which they converted 2 out of the 3 into short term & long term rental apartments, one-beds & studio apartments. I do agree on the size of the fridge and the layout is a bit tricky as well. It’s definitely very spacious though and I love the view & how bright it is.
great apartment, so spacious. Do they also ask that you make 3 times the net amount of your rent?
@MakingitinHolland
3 жыл бұрын
It's super bright! I love the big windows. As a couple you need to be making collectively €6,310.00 to be able to rent this apartment. If you have the 30% tax ruling this amount is €5,260.00. The rest of the details are here: bit.ly/39s2ZMk

Another nice video Gulce, thank you. To my taste this apartment is too giant for a couple or someone single, and also not suitable for a family with kids. Bathroom is the most appealing part to me. But two bedrooms designed this way is not my cup of tea. Who would normally rent such an appartment in the NL?
@MakingitinHolland
3 жыл бұрын
This is definitely a quite large space. I think the target group is more for internationals & expats who are in the Netherlands for not such a long amount of time. Although, can be decent for people looking to live here indefinitely as well. Normally, I would say it's internationals who tend to live in the building where this apartment is located overall. So it would typically be a couple who has 30% tax ruling and probably have 1-2 children who may want to live here.

@@MakingitinHolland this was exactly the point of my question - can't image Dutchies willing to rent such a giant flat. More of American style, to my mind
I don’t understand the remark about lack of privacy upstairs. Why would you need additional privacy in your own home?
@MakingitinHolland
3 жыл бұрын
If that open space is also to function like a bedroom, having some sort of a divider would create privacy for the person occupying that room. For example; if there’s a couple who lives there with their teenager or two couples living in the same apartment. Because right now, it acts like a hallway to the staircase while it’s staged as a bedroom.
Great video hope to see more. Disappointment by there drive though. As a tall man it would be a pain in ass to bend over every time to get something. Great view from the window! I'm a big fan of the huge windows

Can you help us to find a 2 bedroom penthouse in Rotterdam for LONG TERM rent. We will travel to Rotterdam sometime in Mid- February 2023.
@MakingitinHolland

Evet buzdolabi biraz sorun ama bulasik makinesi olmasi belki buzdolabinin kucuklugunu idare ediyor. Burada cogu evde (ozellikle kiralik) bulasik makinesi bulmak neredeyse imkansiz. 2200 euro gercekten az degil...Utrecht'de de evler cok yuksek fiyatta. Hollanda genel olarak bu konuda pahali maalesef.

God, I never saw such a low logic and efficiency in the living space utilizing. It seems designer used multiple ideas without any idea WHO will live there.
