Favorite SV Shiny memory: Having just finished my first Violet playthrough, I started playing my first Scarlet playthrough. First time going into Los Platos, crossing that bridge by the pond, something caught my eye. A Fidough that looked a little more well done than all the others. Barely 20min in, I found a full odds, dawn mark Fidough that I then used for the rest of the playthrough

Almost the exact same thing happened to me! I finished Scarlet and wanting to play the game again started Violet and found a shiny Fidough almost immediately in almost the same spot as you! It wasn’t marked but I kept it on my team

I remember in my first 10 minutes I found a shiny Fidough in Poco Path, but it was sent to my boxes, when I tried to move it I accidentally released it as I didn’t know how to move it to my party.

My first shiny was an orthworm. I'm glad it wasn't shiny gogoat, tbh bc the gogoat curse is slowly following me.

Best shiny memory I've got was playing with my brother on launch day and him asking me "hey, have you seen any shinies yet?" obviously I didn't yet, but he said he had seen 2 but he didn't remember them. I asked how he knew he saw 2 and he mentioned the Profile page keeps track of them. I still had zero, but we discovered he caught a shiny Tinkatot that evolved into Tinkatink accounting for his 2 shinies at the time. It was in his party after we looked through his boxes for a shiny. He never noticed it was shiny and he was using it the whole time because of the hammer difference being very unnoticeable.

I think my best memory of Violet was during my first ever playthrough, I wandered around for ages before the first gym hoping to get randomly lucky. I ran past a group of fletchling before suddenly remembering that its shiny is really hard to notice, and since shinies don’t make a noise or sparkle in the overworld, I ran back to check that group just in case. Turns out, there was a slightly orange fletchling in that group and that’s how I caught my first shiny. No mark, but it did have amazing stats which was cool, plus it was my first ever of that particular shiny Pokémon.

I rly wish more Pokémon games had mass release so we don’t have to rely on Pokémon Home’s 100 release limit per attempt

My favorite SV memory... is playing through Violet blindly (no help or hints) for the first couple of weeks of release. I avoided all social media & KZread videos just to have that "no spoilers" experience, and I loved it! No random shinies in that run (my 1st shiny was a Qwilfish in an outbreak after I beat the main story though!), but I did find my 1st full odds shiny in my Japanese!Scarlet run months later (it was a Baile!Oricorio, such a great shiny!).

My favorite S/V memory is getting to the elite four and seeing the Garchomp flying in the sky, looking very stiff, almost like a statue. That cracked me up and made my week.

Spiritomb will always be one of my favorites... especially an alpha :)

Still going for my shiny living dex, one thing I love is that me and S/V share the same birthday, I feel so special

just a tip for faster matsudaing~! Release as you hatch! Five eggs in five eggs out! It's saved me so much time egg hunting~ And I think one of my favorite shiny capture as of late has to be the Shiny eevee (now jolteon) that spooked me while I was capturing random eevee from the event out brakes~! I turned the camera around and just saw him watching me like 'what up?"

It's actually easier to just save before collecting the eggs and if you don't get the shiny, just restart the game. Then you don't have to release any eggs

My tarountula was the first shiny i ever caught in game. It was the first time i saw the Pokemon aswel so seeing it being a shiny blew my mind! Now every time i see a normal colour tarountula or spidops it feels like they are shiny hahaha

Did not expect the bank standing and barrows gloves remarks. Runescape is one memorable game lol.

Ooh. Tricky one. I reckon my favourite shiny memory from Violet has to be my first ever Masuda method hunt. Sprigatito, so far over odds I was convinced I was doing it wrong. I named it Finally!. Still use it for a raid every now and then.

My favourite shiny is without a doubt my Roaring Moon. I was running around with level 2 dragon encounter, no herba, and at the very last minute of my fourth sandwich, he appeared. I have *never* had such a rush when finding a shiny before, it was just *amazing* Anyway, his name is Bagel and I caught him in a premier ball, but I'm thinking of finding him a brother to catch in a luxury ball at some point Second favourite is my dream ball Eiscue because the combo is just sooo gorgeous. Scarlet player, so did Masuda Method, and no joke, I got him in a staggering *9* eggs lol

I have a lot to say about my experience shiny hunting in Pokémon violet. But my best memory was finding a lunchtime marked shiny forretress in my first time playing Pokémon violet after losing the game card for months. Also doing a shiny only playthrough of Pokémon violet.

Cetoddle was my first ScarVio shiny! I was on the mountain trying to watch Sawsbuck when it ran behind the battle and scared me half to death 😭 I named him Glacier and he stayed on my main team for the rest of the game :) I also have two shiny hawluchas... I love those silly birds and they both randomly appeared two days in a row lol. I'm still trying to hunt Maschiff bc I adore that line and I love the purple of their shines!

My first shiny was an orthworm. I remember the shock and happiness I felt because, well, you're always gonna get hyped about finding your first shiny. Btw Cetitan is my fav shiny :)

My favorite yet also one of my most frustrating hunts was my shiny Staraptor. I failed it once because that stinker went way too high in the sky for any ball to reach it. It then took an entire day before getting him back and it's now my main. Edit: On my first day of the playthrough of Violet, I got a random Swablu, a random Dratini and a random Hoppip... all in one single day.

My favorite memory was catching my first sv shiny, a marked shiny noibat that i used my entire playthrough and still have on my team

omg we share the same first s/v shiny! i found a shiny flittle at in-game night and i was very surprised lolol. i wasn’t hunting at all and somehow my poor eyesight was like… wait a minute, this weird little thing looks… weirder than normal?! and bam. i got my shiny flittle and evolved to an espathra i named Lady Gaga lmao

that joke at around 1:40 about the flittle. I personally would not of left that in the final cut. I cringed really hard when I heard it in my ears. Nice video tho

My favorite shiny I have is probably my wigglet, it was my 2nd shiny and at the time it was my favorite Pokémon, he was full odds too, so I fittingly named him Ultrachad

I have a whole BOX of shinies, which I've never done before! Now I'm a full-blown Shiny Hunter! And colorblind to boot! Slither Wing, which took 4 sandwiches, is my fav! I guess, it's a hard choice. Thank you for these videos, they're so fun! Big fan!!

I also got a full odds shiny without looking for one. It was a shiny rockruff or however it’s spelled. I bought the game 2 months ago and got it in my first play through around after beating the flying titan somewhere in those mountain areas. Mind you this is my first Pokémon game I’ve played since Diamond and pearl when I was 11 lol. It was cool but I didn’t even use him he stays in my box as a shiny to this day

my favourite shiny moment must have been when i fast travelled to a beach and a shiny finizen spawned right in front of me, and then i found a shiny wigglet straight after lol i got so excited

But my fave sv shiny memory was finally finding a shiny applin and I found it on my birthday and that was a very very long shiny hunt,he's now a dipplin named Caramel

My favorite s/v moment is getting a cyclizar ran into me the moment I got out of the academy it was also the beginning of the game too

It was my first shiny in SV I hsd no idea what a Flittle was or the shiny so I was koing them left and right not knowing you only needed to ko 60 or it despawns outbreak... As i'm koing Flittle however... I find a random Full odds Buizel that just literally walked up to me my first real shiny hunt though was Great Tusk

My most sentimental shinies gotta be, my first a full odds Mankey, and my most recent a feebas, that was way easier than it needed to be, I e only failed one shiny a Gardevoir from a tera raid

Just use an encounter power and not a shiny boost sandwich. That’s what I do and that’s how I have more then half of my shinies.

I caught 4 random full odds shiny pokemon during my first playthrough of the game. Flittle being one of them. I just started a brand new file a couple days ago to do a shiny Nuzlocke. It took me 6 hours to get my Poco Path encounter (a shiny Fletching) it took me...ten seconds for my second in South Province 1. (Closed my picnic after gathering 29 eggs turned to start hunting and BAM) A shiny Chewtle was roaring up at me. I'm currently in South Province 2 trying to get a shiny Smoliv. Praying nothing else shows up before then. Terrified of getting stuck with a male Combee

I think my favorite shiny I have in Violet is a tie between my Furret and my Cubchoo I caught Furret almost right after finishing the Teal Mask DLC. Full odds and everything. He's so silly :D As for Cubchoo I was going to go fight Ortega and I ran face-first into a full odds Cubchoo. I didn't realize it was shiny until the sparkles happened heh.

almost done with the shiny living dex of gen 9 (the maingame ones) just 3 species left not counting the starters for the same reason as you but shellos turns out to be such an pain i need 2 obliusly and while I got 1 I have like 15 phases at this point and I am pretty sure I missed some as well after shellos croagunk and seviper left (I only have scarlet so seviper is gonna be an pain) and next week when i get the physical version with the dlc on card (the first one at least) I can hunt 100 new ones. still need to compelte the forms though ugh back to hunting that stupid pink seaslug.

My very first shiny was in violet, i was trying to evolve a bisharp and i was running around the area near the fighting team star base, and out of nowhere I found a random full odds shiny golduck.

My first random shiny in violet , me and my discord buddies were playing sv and we were doing ghimmigoul raids and I found a full odds shiny swablu and this was before I got the shiny charm but I was very surprised when I saw it but I caught her and her name is Sunny

My favorite shiny that I got would have to be a random shiny Slowbro, I was just traveling to an outbreak or Tera den when I came across it, it was also my first random shiny which was pretty cool. 😁😁

9:32 I actually found out that using pokemon home is way easier to mass release pokemon. I never did Masuda method cuz I didn’t want to release pokemon 1 by 1. Then I was told about pokemon home

I just bought the game yesterday, I found a shiny lechonk in los platos , i thought it was a hoppip but I needed it for my dex, i ran into it and it was a shony lechonk😂

My fav memories and my first two shinies were in the same day it was 3rd day of release and I really wanted orthworm and I fast travel to the sunken tower and boom full odds blue worm and than a hr later leaving for work I saved at the Pokémon center near the bird Titian and a shiny rockruff ran by my screen mid save they both became champs

My fastest masuda method was alolan vulpix in 2 eggs and my longest was fennekin with 1,012 eggs.

My Favoriten shiny Moment was when i found a full odds shiny hoppip a few minutes into the First area of the Game Just outside the House. Of course i freaked Out and cauught it and its Name ist "Pea" in honor of its Green colouring. Although that Name doesnt fit anymore since its now a paldean Champ Jumpluff. Wich also Just so happens to be the First Pokémon i ever got to Level 100 without any XP candys. Its quickly Risen to become one of my absolute favourite Pokémon of all time because of this amazing experience. Love you Pea!💚🩷

Pokemon can be released 30 at a time and up to 100 per session in pokemon Home (idk if i explained this very well but you gotta save the changes every 100 released)

My first shiny in scarlet was a Marle or whatever the first evo is in a raid battle and got a shiny medacham when I was think “would be funny if I got medacham shiny like in ultra sun” and it happended

So with my shiny rufflet, I was on a call with my friend, running across Asado desert, and I went afk to talk with her, and when I looked at the screen, a Rufflet had run into me, when it sparkled. My first shiny in Pokémon Scarleg was a full odds, random shiny. I still have it today and I even have a photo of evolving it into Braviary, who is nicknamed Shinybirb

My favorite shiny was Fuecoco... Found my first one with Mesuda method after 2748 eggs hatched😅

My best shiny memory is when i hatched a Shiny Sprigatito in 12 eggs in violet Or finding all the paradox pokemon with no shiny boosts in Scarlet :)

I never found a full odds shiny in my main file I got m first from a Noivern outbreak then I got the shiny charm

my first shiny is a random oinkologne near the lighthouse near lavencia, it was like a pink sore thumb in the background, while doing the story i have a love hate relationship with SV shiny hunting, i can get lucky and get a shiny in 1 min or spend hours with sandwich +charm i miss PLA shiny sounds so much

Dang, I wish I could get a flittle. It never shines for me. My neighbor got it, but I never get luck on it. I managed to end up getting the evolution shiny, though.

The first spiritomb I found in Scarlet and violet was shiny but i lost it because it had memento and my auto save was on 😢😢😢

The only shiny I caught was at full odds in Area Zero and it was Hawlucha

So I actually have two best shiny memories the first being the fact that I caught a full odds, only 30ish minutes into the game shiny female maschiff who I DID keep on my team for the full playthrough and the other being the shiny female froakie I made because fighting those odds was crazy. No I was not hunting a female starter, I was just making a shiny variant of all the 7star terra raid starters using the terra pokemon as the parent and poof! Shiny black female frog

My first shiny hunt in violet I masuda method for sprigatito but after many weeks I hatched a shiny sprigatito in march 2023,I went under odds 180+ , I got the idea to do so when I was watching my friend's youtube livestream masuda methoding shiny sprigatito and he got it and I was like"if he could do it and succeed then so can I" and that's exactly what I did and that's how I got my shiny sprigatito
