I just wanted to reiterate how much I have enjoyed watching you and having my interest in vintage jewlery and accessories re-kindled. Just today I found a vintage Dior logo scarf for $1, an embossed gold Florientine leather pocketbook in perfect condition for $5, and a bunch of really great quality jewlery for $2 or less an item. It was quite a successful morning! I had been only focusing on picking up gold and silver to scrap but now I a feel like I am looking with a new perspective.

Looks like so much fun! Love seeing what you pick out! I've been collecting for a little over a year and love all the research and videos like this!! I'm living vicariously through you right now 😂❤

They' re selling items for e-bay prices, so the people on low incomes who the charity stores are meant to cater to can no longer afford to buy from charities! Dawn, I love lucite too, but can you please explain in your educated opinion what is lucite exactly? I see a lady on a live reseller show call everything lucite if it’s plastic and vintage, I thought lucite was an acrylic like plastic that was clear or semi see through, not solid normal plastic and solid acrylic. So can you PLEASEEEE explain to me so I have an educated answer to give to my customers?

Ok here's my best try. It's a trademark name for plexiglass made by Dupont in 1931, But it's used like xerox was for copies, or polaroid for instant film, or kleenex for tissues
