Yes you are right, he is doing all himself...guitar...keyboard.. and i think he can play 8 more instruments. Then he editing... sings backvocals... yeah all. You asked what that lever was. It's a whammy bar: A whammy bar is a device on an electric guitar that allows you to change the pitch of the strings. With regular back and forth movements you create a vibrato.

The original is fire and Steelheart's lead singer Michael Matijevic has an impressive voice. The same goes for Tommy. He's an incredibly talented guy and, as you could see in this video, he likes to add some humor. I haven't heard a bad cover on his channel yet.

The guitar you see Tommy use here, is a one of his Gary Moore replicas that a friend of his handbuilt for him.years ago. Recently he actually aquired the original guitar from Gary, who used it on his recording of Murder In The Sky. Now Tommy has made his cover of that song, using the very same guitar Gary Moore is a guitar hero of Tommy, since childhood. Hearing a recording of him at age 9 inspired Tommy to learn the guitar and he had done several excellent Gary covers. The guy is a guitaraholic, he owns well over 30 of them.

Is that all. Before I go on about jb. He may have a replica but he does not own the Gary Moore guitar. I don’t know who owns it. I will find out tomorrow. Jb otherwise known as Joe Bonammassa has at least 1 guitar for every day of the year. At last count it was 397. That’s a collection dude😊😊😊😊

You are so right . Tommy is so good. So much talent. Guitars, piano, keyboard, bass, flute, drums, accordion you name it. Tommy plays it. And produces everything himself. He is such a hard working guy. You live this one? Listen to his rendition ofvthe phantom of the opera where he sings both parts. And he can be so emotional. There arecsongs that make me cry when he sings them because he can transport emotions so well. You should go to who wants to live forever or the sound of silence which sang for a friend that died. Yeah Tommy is ten thumbs up as usual. The man is a musical genius and play and does everything in his videos. Thats a tremolo bar you refered to its to lower or get higher with the strings and swaying them. And I promise every cover from Tommy is a masterpiece. I hope you go on with him!! Thanx man!

Check out Empty room Gary Moore cover.

He is incredible doing the covers (and rearraning and finding his own sound) but I appreciate his own music even more as it also shows what a great songwriter and composer he is. So I recommend checking out his own band Majestica (former ReinXeed). When we get nearer xmas I can recommend the Christmas Carol album where he tells the story about Scrooge in songs with parts of familiar (traditional) xmas tunes. But for ReinXeed i love 1912 (about Titanic, We Must Go Faster is the most played I think) and the Welcome to the Theatre album where all songs is about a movie. The Majestica album Above the Sky is a gem and the title track is awesome and and let all band members shine.

If you are talking about the Whammy Bar, it's mainly used to apply vibratos or pitch changes u cannot do with standard fretboard bends. But there are so many cool ways to use it, including dive bombs or creating the effect of an accelerating motor.

You are very, very kind… to Steelheart. Steelheart made a very good song that was popular at the time. TJ improved on the song in EVERY way. The guitar work in the original was VERY basic. Tommy’s guitar was a LOT more technical. The Steel Heart vocals are very good. Tommy’s are better. Sorry. TJ took a very good song and made it a LOT better. His compositional improvements to the song were brilliant. The production quality is amazing. Even the humor was great. Near the end he was just showing off with the vocals. It is nothing short of ridiculous. Go listen to his cover of Heart’s Alone. Again, Tommy’s Heart cover is better than the original. It’s hard for me to say that, because I was in Love with the lead singer and guitarist when I was a kid. One of my favorite groups.
