Not that much. Teenagers tend to create "involved" stuff. There are some more or less random thoughts, obvious "Matrix" influence and again obvious young rebel vibe. However. Fact that early teens wrote, composed and performed this on such high level it is truly mindblowing.

This video is a work of art and a prophecy! I felt really bad when I saw 2 months ago that it didn't have 800 thousand views and an average of 6 views per day. I called some friends, showed them the video and we made a commitment to share it. My wife owns a small social media company and also participated. In 2 months the average daily views rose by around 1000 views. In a few days it will finally reach 1 million views (after 7 years!). I hope to live to see this video with 100 million views... That's what it deserves.

The first guy to become aware and dragged away by the hooded men was gagged and not blind folded, so he couldn't tell others. When XXI Century Blood was album was released Alejandra was 12, Daniela 17, and Paulina 15. The lady who tripped over the guy who fell from the building didn't react to him hitting the sidewalk. Watch their 2017 TEDx talk where they talk about the album, what is important to them, and what their music means to them and why they stayed an independent band for so long. They hold these same values today. They haven't changed with age, only matured.

My son is always glued to his phone when we’re in the car, bus or train. I tell him to look out and enjoy the view. He says, “boring.” Sitting on a bus stop bench after I picked him up after school, my son was busy texting. I asked who he was texting. He says, “my friend at school. He’s sitting over there.” He pointed to the kid on the other end of the bench. I said, “OMG! The Warning was right!” He texted his friend, “I knew he was going to say that.” They both laughed and continued texting.

Mrs Realistic. My son surprised me at a recent LEGO Convention. We used to do LEGO and take part in conventions before the pandemic until he outgrew it. My display was not being noticed, sandwiched between crowd favorites Ghostbusters and Stranger Things. My son joined me on the last day and added a slideshow on his IPad showing WIP, adding technology to my display of Blade Runner. It attracted a lot of attention to my display with positive reviews and reactions. I was so proud of him. I jokingly said The Warning would be proud with how he used his ‘superpowers’. When I gave him a hug he said, “I knew you were going to say that.” He turns 14 next month.

Paulina is the genius behind most, if not all, of the lyrics of most of their songs. She sits down at the piano and conceputualizes the songs, then she takes the ideas to Dany and Ale, and they help with the finishing touches such as Guitar solo, base lines and the polishing of the final product. They have mentioned this before in interviews.

Since February, I have become a hyper focused fan for this band. I don't want to put them up on a pedestal, but I do want to commend them. Yes, they were raised right, but to me the difference is they're doing something monumental with it. They are making a difference, and as you noted, it is a conscious effort. It sure is a whole lot easier to do nothing at all. I'm so glad that they have made that choice. And, the ages in which some of my favorite songs of The Warning are from this era in their careers. What God given talent these girls have. We'll, that's enough of my philosophical ranting for this day. Thanks for the reaction as always, and your touch of wisdom that I appreciate.

They nailed it, didn't they? They *are* the 21st Century Blood... as in generation. My twins are 25, a year older than Dany, so I can relate. They have a lot of the same perceptions and experiences. This album came out in Spring of 2017. They wrote most of it about a year earlier. This is song one, side one, album one for The Warning. What a statement! They are extremely socially aware. If you go back and listen to the title track on their first EP, *Escape the Mind,* you will understand what a rebel Pau actually is. She performs it live, recorded at Liceo de Monterrey, their school, in June, 2015, in an outdoor arena in front of parents and students. The smirk on her face as she sings jaw dropping lyrics, solo, at the piano, is priceless. She was 13, and freaking brilliant. *Fade Away* has a similar vibe. There is a point in the life of a child when truth is unveiled and cannot be hidden. The Warning's early works reveal many of their truths.

@@MrsRealistic My wife insisted I get a phone after I left the corporate world (and their cell phone "leashes") behind nearly a decade ago, "for emergencies". Mostly it lives on my desk. While I do spend the later evenings fiddling around on my home systems and networks for my own sense of entertainment, when I'm done for the day I'm done, and generally don't head back to it and live in "the real world" until after 10:00PM. I've been tinkering with computers as a hobbyist and later professionally since the mid-70s, so these days I once again consider it a hobby, but that's about it. Mobile devices are of little use to me except in very specific use cases...

Title track to the first album , when released in 2017 they were 17 15 and 12, but it was written a year or so before. Ale had to miss some time at school to record that album, she missed part of the 4TH GRADE. 3 years after this came out, Nightwish released the song "Noise", which has a similar theme. Check out the music video for that.

Paulina does write most of the songs but at least 2 of 3 have to agree until they work on the song. They have lots of documentaries explaining this.

The end where the guy realizes there is a reality, he thinks "here goes nothing" and decides to take a chance. Win or lose it can´t be worse than where he is. Many people don´t take that leap and they stay in this safe zone of created reality. The girls in The Warning grasped the reality already at that young age, they saw what was important and what was wrong. This song contains one of Dany´s best solos, and tells a story well worth listening to.

Hi!, definitely I'm not too old for listening to this kind of music again, like when I was young ☺️. These ladies are great and, in my opinion, the way in wich they build the songs reminds me of the great heavy/rock groups of the eighties and nineties. I liked the MV and your analysis as always 👏, today without "almost", so today you can't complain 😂. See you next time. 👋🎶

I don't know if you noticed at the beginning, when they capture the one who removed the blindfold and "saw the reality," when they bring him to the eye (symbol of the All-Seeing Eye), a symbol of control, his blindfold is no longer over his eyes but over his mouth because what he has seen must not be told to others! Small details that these girls meticulously craft at every level, from the lyrics, to the music, and the videos!

If you want to hear them talk about XXI Century Blood (the album) and the intention behind it I highly recommend their 2017 TedX talk. kzread.info/dash/bejne/op5p18dsfZDcZtI.html They also give some very insightful commentary on their early careers and play three songs from the album. It shows that their current succes is not only due to talent and hard work but also making smart decisions.
