This is the reason Vettel crashed Ricciardo's Red Bull F1 test 😮

    How did Seb go from being an absolute douche, seemingly hated by most, to being an international treasure who brings a smile to my face every time I see him? Love that guy!

    I’m sick and tired of people saying he was such a ‘douche’ and that there was a legitimate reason to EVER hate this man. The problem was never with Seb. The problem was with the fans Edit: on the off-season I watched all 2010-2013 seasons…all I saw was youthful exuberance, a cheerfulness that wouldn’t go away and a fierce, competitive nature where he ‘races, he won’. Sounds great to me. He raised his finger up to symbolized the number one. He earned that. I didn’t see ANYTHING worthy of hate. I also noticed that it was the British more than anyone else, and specifically the British media, who treated him horribly. Almost to the level of abuse.

    I still have hope that in the next engine regulations, we will have a naturally aspirated V8 engine with sustainable fuel (way more sustainable and cheaper than a hybrid engine)

  • @DoorTechnicianRick

    @DoorTechnicianRick

    But it ain't relevant for the roads so no. It will stay V6 hybrid, they're only going to downsize the engines not the other way around

  • @54_ocram46

    @@DoorTechnicianRick come on. The MGU-H was introduced in 2014 and will never be implemented in road cars. Literally KERS or DRS are F1 cars features that only hypercars use (similar technology and only a limited amount). These engines sre great in terms of efficiency but the road cars will never be able to get this kind of efficiency and most importantly, reliability. WEC is way better at that than F1. Also, Ferrari, Mclaren, Audi, Mercedes, Aston Martin and Ford will continue using V8 engines for their supercars/hypercars, so developing cheaper and more sustainable supercars/hypercars would be way better for some teams on the grid. *Note: If they even wanted to apply F1 engines to road cars, the inline six structure would be way better than the V6 structure as it is smaller, lighter and way more simple and sometimes, more reliable.

    how can it be more sustainable than Hybrid naturally aspirated V8

  • @54_ocram46

    @54_ocram46

    11 ай бұрын

    @@DoorTechnicianRick i know that it will be out, that's why I said it. It appeared for nothing. And about the cilinders, for me, it's not about a number or not even the noise. It's about being cheap, attractive and powerful in order to have more engine manufacturers (and teams in general) on the grid. Right now looks a bit better with Ferrari, Mercedes, Renault, Honda, Red Bull and Audi, but I fear about Renault getting out of F1 as they've underperforming for ages. I would love the idea or a V8, but I don't care if it is a V6, and I6, a V5, I4...etc. As long as it is simple, cheap and powerful enough, it's fine for me. Also, another reason why I don't like the hybrid engine it's the weight of the engine and how big it is, which makes the whole car concept to be bigger and to weight way more. If they could make the hybrid engine way smaller or lighter, then it would be completely fine for me. I just want cars to be way more agile on low speed corners and less understeery on medium speed corners.

    Nice effort but the greenwashing doesn’t help the cause. There isn’t anything in a moving vehicle that is zero emission or without a trace. You always need to brake and during braking there is pollution unfortunately. But less is better so there’s that.

When the rules changed an drivers had to choose a number for the remainder of their F1 career....Sebastian choose #5 because it was that number he ran with when he won his 1st WDC 2010.
