This is going to be such an awesome project. Lots of vegetation clearing, and burning but once that is done, you'll have your pallette ready to go. Like you Audrey, I can see all the potential in this and I bet your dad is so happy you are taking this on.

I so wish I was in a position to help you. My favorite thing to do is work within natural vegetation to transform properties. I’ve done a number of them and they always turn out beautifully. I see beauty all around you and can envision how stunning that property will be when it’s finished. So much potential!

Just so very happy for Audrey & Sam to see the excitement they both share for this project. I enjoy hearing Audrey talk about growing up at this place and the things she remembers of the experience. This is going to be a lot of hard work but will be a very beautiful place when it's completed. It won't be a overnight job,but will still be a very beautiful and awesome place in stages.

Not sure what your long term plans are and financials, but have you ever considered having the people that stay on your property help with more improvements? Or going in sort of an eco tourism direction by having campers and rental apt people alike on the property? Seems like you have a wide audience that would love to stay with you and they might be a group that can help improve the property while enjoying it. Just a thought...

Harriet and i are still dealing with landscape issues in our new house in Richmond, Va. and trying to renovate property in my family in the Cape Verd Islands. It's a work in progress. We once inherited a castle in Germany and lived there for several years. It was a great experience, we had about 28 rooms there, but then we sold it. And since then I've been happy in my little house and garden. I wish you lots of determination and energy.

Yes, clearing the land is going to be the first step before we can start working on the houses. That's going to be a big job!

Make a large clearing, use a chainsaw to clear around the structures, pile the brush in the clearing, let it dry out for a couple weeks, pure some gasoline on it and light with a match. Attack the black mold with some bleach, you can spray it on with a garden sprayer. Lots of wall painting to do and cleaning indoors. Looks like a future resort area. You'll need a good water supplyand electric power (generator).

No es buena idea el prender fuego. El desmalezado se puede usar como compost... Se puede hacer un pozo y dejar ahí todo para que la naturaleza haga su trabajo. En mí casa se tira toda la maleza en un gran desnivel del terreno. Cuando llega el verano poco queda. El frío y heladas hacen efecto y sirven para abonar la tierra.

I’m so excited that I found these videos. I was following you because I’m going to Germany and wanted to check out some places to visit. Don’t know how but these videos of the hotel renovation came up and I love to watch the progress. I’m from Buenos Aires, Argentina, but for the last 40 years I’ve been living in the US. Just came back from visiting my family and love it there. Would love to know what made your family leave and how long you lived there. Does your family still own the property? Well, of course, you wouldn’t e doing this if they didn’t. Good luck with the project. I’ll keep watching, I’m only on video 2 of this series..

When I went back to the house I lived in as a child growing up I got emotional because it triggered memories of actually being happy and carefree. I'm wondering Audrey if you felt the same? Also did your parents take and have pictures of the hotel and property so we could see what it looked like years ago?

There is what was an abandoned place not too unlike this near us in Las Cruces, NM. Then there is a famous "Green Chili Cheeseburger" place in nearby Hatch, NM. called "Sparky's". It is known all over the U.S. because his hamburger is rated "Top-10" in the U.S. and there are KZread videos of it. The son of the well-known owner of Sparky's bought the place near us and is fixing it up just like you intend to do. And it has been very successful. He serves food and drinks in the courtyard around the old rooms. On the week-ends it is filled to capacity. The food right now all comes out of a truck by customer order at the truck. But it must be very good because it is almost impossible to get a table on Friday and Saturday nights. Most customers drive pick-up trucks. That tells you right there how good it is.

Really enjoyed the video! Very excited for you; the property definitely has amazing potential! We’re currently on a bus; we just left Granada - next stop Córdoba, Spain. 🇪🇸 😀

There well defined 4 seasons whitin the year. Summers are hot with Much rain and winter re dry with freezing temperatures and some chance of light snow.

Nice!!! Sooo, does that means your followers will have a new hotel option to book when they come to Argentina in the future? 😁 That would be nice! The place has lots of potential and we are loving to follow you guys in this new journey ☺️ Keep going!
