THIS is the ONLY WAY you should start a MING WORLD CONQUEST in EU4!
Ойындар
EU4 Ming is traditionally a bit of a snooze-fest. But today, we're going to play a pacifist Ming! Not really - we're going to be focusing on the EU4 tributary and EU4 mandate of heaven features! If you have high enough mandate, and have passed enough reforms, you can convert tributaries into vassals and enjoy! We're going to be stacking modifiers to reduce diplomatic annexation cost to begin a MING WORLD CONQUEST!

This was a really nice video, in terms of change of pace but also in how you show us what you're doing. I've never touched Ming, it is a bit daunting to me, but now you've made me want to try it.

*CHINAWILLGROWLARGER*
I rarely play in the China region, but some time ago i started as a jurchen tribe into Qing. The amount of tributaries i got from picking the exploriation ideea (for the coloniser) is astounding. By the time i unified China for the achievement, i had around 70 tributaries. Ofc, if i cared, i could have gone for more, but it got boring.

8:30 the 50 admin power is from you already being at +3 stability. I sometimes click it if I’m already at like 95 prestige.
24:50 why do you reform on 83 mandate when its better to reform on 100 go down 70 to 30.. then ur only below the 50 for a short period of time?

Minghals is still possible, but it's slightly more roundabout! Basically, conquer Kyrgyzstan or anywhere else with the appropriate mughal cultures as well as Delhi, pick exploration ideas, expel Kyrgyz people to Australia, then hand all your provinces to your colonial subject except your capital and releaseplay as them. This is not possible in the americas since none of the provinces directly connect to the old world by seatile border, but australia has direct seatile connections all the way up to china through the phillipines, sulawesi and papua.

diplo annex (DA) cost is also modified by admin eff (AEf), and all power costs (APC). Which means you can get another 10% if you get yourself to 100 inno, and another 10% from a golden age. The APC modifier is multiplicative with DA cost modifiers tho, so you get cost*(0.5 from DA)*(0.8 from APC) = 40% of cost, and not just cost*(0.3 from DA + APC) = 30% of cost. AEf is multiplicitive with that, again, so at 50% AEf, you cut those costs in half, again.
I hope this reaches the point to where the pope and the HRE are made into tributaries.
Mandate time
Part two, yeeeeee
yknow laith, in my manchu playthrough i went with the "just outgrow the coalition" strategy...it ended up with a coalition that had over 4 million troops and 2 million reserve manpower as it was *the entire world* in a coalition including the biggest ottomans I've ever seen in my life and when I say entire world, I mean every nation that knew of my existence, minus some HRE OPMs and Britain (who was threatened for whatever reason and wanted to ally). This was in the early 1600s
Going expansion first and letting the disaster fire and keep choosing the “get 10 mandate and a rebel army” option. Get tributaries in the spice islands and Africa by getting neighbours through colonies and just fight weak people on land? Was this changed in a new patch?
Really curious about what the rest of the world looks like.
8:35 If I'm already close to 100 prestige, I take the 50 admin power.
What music do you use in the background of these videos?
I had one good Ming game, before they updated tributary states. I used the Force Tributary CB as a way to take a bunch of land, I recreated the modern borders of China, colonized Taiwan, Australia, Indonesia, California, and Cascadia, and spent decades purposefully destabilizing Japan. It takes a lot of work to make Ming fun.
*pays money for a bunch of mandates* "How am i corrupt" :P
Do well video. Do well.
This is the way.

I'm pretty sure the minghals was removed a while ago, probably they made ming an endgame tag or smth
Ming is kinda misrepresented in EU4. The development of Ming should be doubled, and every country over 1000 development should be given a province debuff to simulate the inefficiency of big empires.

Mandate from tributaries is determined by development, not number of countries. So it's better to have one large one that isn't likely to get conquered because it got called into a war alongside a non-tributary ally.
Lmao the thumbnail is a Qing princess though😂
you say TRIBUTARY a lot in this video!
Laith actually loves playing tall while nobody is watching, he is just too embarrassed to admit it. It is like his guilty pleasure : )
HAVE YOU EVER PLAY THE TRIBE ON FAR TOP NEXT TO ALASKA DEAR SIR WITH ALL CAPS🧢 LOCK 🔒
T It's not wise of me to advise you at eu4, but, in a peace deal you can shift+left click the "money +" to get the maximum amount they are willing to give you.

I haven't played Ming since the last patch, but I think you should really pick a decree. Some of them are very good and it only cost you some "chinese legitimacy" (I forgot the name), which was at 100 almost all the time in your game.

You can set it in the game options before starting a campaign. It doesn't even affect achievements.
So I've noticed a much faster editing style where you are cutting out even the slightest second dead of air. For constructive criticism, it makes the video feel really jumpy, way too fast paced, and really hard to keep track of. There were parts of the video I had to go back and rewatch at x0.9 speed to try and understand what's going on. Obviously, dead air is generally bad, but cutting out even the moderate natural breaks between words is just way way too zealous.
