I had the unique privilege of working at Holy Land Experience (Orlando) as a priest in the Tabernacle, learning to play shofar, and pronouncing this prayer every morning as the park gates would open and people would enter for the day. I would first say it in Hebrew and than translate to English. I believe that all of God's Word can be used as a prayer tool, the "script" we use to decree, declare, proclame, petition, but there is something special about this one.

Even Acts 2:38 saids to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Jesus is the Father, Jesus is the Son, Jesus is the Holy Ghost. And look into (John 1:1/John 1:14).

@ronnipaints Jesus never wrote any prayer. Please cross-check your bible in the correct context again. Jesus only taught the disciples. He didn't write the "Our father prayer" but rather taught them as a model how to pray. Please try to contextualize your argument next time, fellow beloved saint

First of all Jesus is NOT GOD. GOS is the father. If you listen to the words of Jesus you hear this over and over, when he say my father. Who was Jesus talking to in the cross when he said “father why have you forsaken me?” Who was Jesus talking to in the Lord’s Prayer when he said OUR FATHER who art in heaven. Jesus was a man he just said that. Jesus was calked over and over Son OF MAN!! The Bible also says. that God is NOT a MAN nor is God the Son of MAN !!

Today we find prayers for us in Paul's epistles. Israel's prayers are for them and don't work today. People use Psalm 91 to pray to God to keep them from this pandemic, you can be assured that there are people that prayed that and died. We are in the age of grace, when God told Paul, My grace is sufficient for you, you better believe it. Paul answered, Most gladly would I rather glory in my infirmities that the power of Christ may rest upon me, therefor I take pleasure in infirmities... for Christ's sake, for when I am weak, than I am strong.
